On Saturday, Novemnber 29th, 2025, I, Cpl. Thomas Perry, was in the 300 Block of Carriage Ln in reference to a homicide.

While on scene there was a large group of people. One male later identified as Quincey Stephens was there with apartment [300 BLOCK] Carriage Ln. We removed a group of black males from [300 BLOCK] Carriage Ln Apt [REDACTED] to conduct a search warrant at the location. One of the males from [300 BLOCK] said something to Stephens and the group he was with. Stephens became very irate. He began yelling back and forth with the other group.

I identified a black male in all black as being the main protagonist towards Stephens. He was later identified as Leonardo Hamilton. I warned Hamilton several times to not engage with Stephens and to walk away. Other officers warranted Stephens. Stephens went into the street, and continued to yell, as both parties attempted to provoke each other to fight.

I took Stephens into custody and Hamilton into custody for disorderly conduct. Hamilton was issued citation number BB002313 with a court date of 06/22/2026. Stephens was issued a citation number BB002314 with a court date of 06/01/2026. Hamilton was transported to jail by Cpl. M. Hunt. Stephens was taken to jail by Ptl. Rathel.

While searching Hamiltona small amount of marijuana was found in his pocket. The marijuana was taken to the police department and logged into evidence to be destroyed.

This case is cleared by arrest.
