On 05/17/2026 at approx. 1203 hours, I, Ptl. Harris, responded in normal patrol mode to 610 S Slappey Blvd (Emarket) in reference to family violence.

Upon arrival, contact was made with a male named [WITNESS #1] who stated he was called by his cousin named [VICTIM #1] saying she was assaulted. [WITNESS #1] stated [VICTIM #1] called him to come and pick her up because her boyfriend, Myrek Banks and a female named “KiKi” jumped her. [WITNESS #1] stated he arrived on Florence in a 2015 white in color Dodge Journey displaying Ga Tag [REDACTED] and brought her to Enmarket. I asked [WITNESS #1] where was [VICTIM #1] and he said that she was in the trunk waiting to make contact with police.

I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and she stated she was in a physical altercation with her child’s father, Myren Banks. [VICTIM #1] stated she and Banks had been arguing earlier in the day and he took her cellphone. [VICTIM #1] stated Banks was on the phone with someone and she asked him to give her the cellphone back and he refused.

[VICTIM #1] stated she and Banks started arguing and he was shoving his cellphone in her face trying to record her. [VICTIM #1] stated she did move Banks’ cellphone out of her face and he pushed her to the ground. [VICTIM #1] stated Banks made her hit her head on the ground and it made a knot on the left side of her forehead. [VICTIM #1] stated Banks called his friend, KiKi, to come over to the location. [VICTIM #1] stated once KiKi, later identified as Kassandra Mcintyre, she started arguing with her. [VICTIM #1] stated she and Mcintyre started fighting and she (Mcintyre) busted her lip.

I asked [VICTIM #1] if she was hurt anywhere else and she said her body was aching from the fight. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she got her phone back and she said yes. [VICTIM #1] stated she found her phone in the grill outside of the residence. I asked [VICTIM #1] if there were any children inside of the house and she said she is currently 11 weeks pregnant with his child. I asked [VICTIM #1] if she and Banks currently live together and she said yes. I took photos of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and logged them into Albany Police Department Property and Evidence Locker #02.

I asked [VICTIM #1] if Banks was still at the residence and she said yes. I asked for any unit that could respond to the location and Ptl. Conley advised he would be en route to the residence to make contact with Banks. Ptl. Conley, Ptl. D. Green, and Ptl. Morency arrived on scene and confirmed that both Mcintyre and Banks were at the residence.

After taking the photos of [VICTIM #1], I went to the residence and made contact with Banks. Banks stated he and [VICTIM #1] were arguing and he called his friend, Mcintyre, while she was there. Banks stated [VICTIM #1] asked him about a cellphone and he said he did not have it. Banks stated [VICTIM #1] started fighting him, so he told Mcintyre to come to the residence.

Banks stated when Mcintyre arrived, [VICTIM #1] was still trying to hit him. Banks stated Mcintyre stepped in the middle of them trying to keep [VICTIM #1] from hitting him. Banks stated [VICTIM #1] hit Mcintyre in the face and they started fighting. Banks stated [VICTIM #1] also hit him several times and ripped his shirt off of him that he was wearing. Banks stated [VICTIM #1] also hit him in the mouth and scratched his forehead.

I asked Banks where was [VICTIM #1]’s cellphone and he said that she hid her cellphone in the grill, but got it out once more people arrived to the residence. I asked Banks why did he call for Mcintyre to come to the residence and he said [VICTIM #1] called for someone to come to his house and they were possibly gang members. I asked Banks was he hurt or injured and he said he had scratches around his neck and his face. I did observe a scratch on his forehead, but not on his neck.

Banks stated he had some of the incident recorded on his cellphone. I asked if I could see the footage and he said yes. I observed Banks in the back yard and he appeared to be speaking on the phone. I could hear [VICTIM #1] ask Banks who he was on the phone with and he said KiKi. I heard [VICTIM #1] asking Banks for her cellphone and he said he did not have it. I could see [VICTIM #1] walk back inside of the house and they stalled arguing. I observed Banks push [VICTIM #1] into the house and Banks stated [VICTIM #1] kicked him when they were going into the residence.

I asked Banks if he had any other video of the altercation inside of the house and he said he did not have any cameras inside of the house. I asked Banks if any other part of the altercation took place outside and he said no. I asked Banks if there was anyone else inside of the residence when everyone was fighting and he said no. While we were speaking to Banks, his mother [REDACTED], arrived on scene and asked for a pot from his residence.

I spoke with Mcintyre briefly and she said she was involved in the incident and called to the residence by Banks. Based off the information provided by both Banks and [VICTIM #1], Banks would be charged with Battery FV and Mcintyre would be charged with Disorderly Conduct. Banks was placed in double-locked handcuffs to the rear and searched incident to arrest. The search yielded a brown in color wallet and keys. Banks had a green in color vape in his hands and I had his cellphone since I was looking at the video he provided. Banks was escorted to Ptl. Morency’s patrol car, car 18-221.

Banks stated he wanted his mother, [REDACTED], to have all of his possessions. I advised Banks that he would need to sign a Chain of Custody Form in order for her to obtain his belongings and he said he would. I advised [REDACTED] as well that she would need to sign the Chain of Custody Form in order to receive the items and she said she would. I showed Banks the form and asked him if he wanted her to have the items and he said yes. I completed the Chain of Custody Form and had [REDACTED] to sign it and she did. Ptl. Morency transported Banks to the Dougherty County Jail and he signed the form at the jail.

Mcintyre was placed in double-locked handcuffs to the rear and searched incident to arrest. The search yielded negative results for any weapons or illegal contraband. Mcintyre was placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle, car 18-198. Mcintyre was complaining of mild cramping and stated it was because she was 6 weeks pregnant, Mcintyre also complained that her jaw was hurting from [VICTIM #1] hitting her in it during the altercation.

An arrest booking card was completed on both Mcintyre and Banks. Mcintyre was transported to the Dougherty County Jail. Upon arrival at the jail, my weapon was placed in the trunk of my patrol vehicle. Mcintyre was escorted into the jail and released to the jail staff without incident.

A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties and it was negatiive for any wants/warrants. This case is domestic between [VICTIM #1] and Banks due to the fact that they currently live together. This incident was captured on my body camera via audio and video. Warrant 26-006635-01APD was taken against Myren Banks for Battery Family Violence. Warrant 26-006635-02APD was taken against Kassandra Mcintyre for Disorderly Conduct.

This case has been cleared by arrest.

MAGISTRATE COURT SETS SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF BOND FOR MYREN BANKS
