I responded I normal patrol mode to [100 BLOCK] Mossydale Rd. in reference to an Unknown Problem.
Upon arrival I made contact with a male that was sitting on the porch later identified as Paul Mayberry. Paul stated that he came over to the residence to see his friend [VICTIM #1]. Paul stated that he did not know why they called the police. While trying to talk to Paul he stated that I was a punk a*s nig*a and I need to knock on the door to see who called.
I knocked on the door and made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that Paul had come over to her house earlier that day and the Ptl. Medlock advised him not to come back to the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated that later that evening Paul came back and was drunk and irate and was beating on her windows and her door. [VICTIM #1] stated that she told Paul to leave but he kept beating on the doors and windows. [VICTIM #1] stated that Paul was causing so much of a scene that her son [WITNESS #1] had to come out of the house and tell him to stop. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not call Paul back over to her house because he stay drunk.
I went and made contact with [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated that he witnessed Paul outside the residence beating on the doors and windows. [WITNESS #1] stated that [VICTIM #1] never told Paul to come back over to the residence. [WITNESS #1] stated that he had to come outside to get Paul to calm down.
I went and made contact with Paul. Paul stated that [VICTIM #1] called him back over to the residence. I told Paul that [VICTIM #1] stated that she never stated that. Paul became furious with me stating that he did not have to go anywhere. Paul started cursing at me and I asked him to calm down several times. Paul would not calm down.
I then placed Paul in double locked handcuffs to the rear. I conducted a search incident to arrest and placed Paul in my patrol vehicle 19-160. I transported Paul to the Dougherty County Jail. I placed my service weapon in the trunk of my patrol vehicle. Paul was turned over to the jail intake staff without incident. I went back to the rear of my patrol vehicle to check for contraband and I was met with negative results. Paul was booked on a Misdemeanor Citation #BB002161 for Disorderly Conduct.
This case is cleared by arrest.
