I responded in normal mode to [400 BLOCK] Jefferies Ave. in reference to a criminal trespass. Upon arrival, my body camera was activated. I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] on the front porch who advised a black female (later identified as Ri’cardriana Sloan) came to this location and shot at them. [VICTIM #2] advised that the issue began at Shackleford Plaza (261 E Oglethorpe Blvd) when Sloan attempted to speak with her but she didn’t respond back. [VICTIM #2] advised that Sloan got mad at her for not speaking and began causing a scene in the Shackleford parking lot until the police started clearing it out. [VICTIM #2] advised she and [VICTIM #1] responded back to her residence on Jefferies Ave when she received a message from Sloan on instagram [REDACTED] stating she was “fixing to pull up” to fight her. [VICTIM #2] advised she and Sloan began arguing via instagram in which she stated that if she pulled up on her at home she was going to mace her.
[VICTIM #2] advised Sloan did not know exactly where she lived so when she arrived on the street they heard a car horn start blaring. [VICTIM #2] advised she and [VICTIM #1] heard the car horn coming from Jefferies Ave/S Madison St. and stepped outside on the front porch. [VICTIM #2] advised when she and [VICTIM #1] stepped out they observed an unknown black car stop in front of the house. [VICTIM #2] advised they saw Sloan exit the drivers seat and began stating “yall talking sh*t” and “bi*ch I will shoot you”. [VICTIM #2] advised [VICTIM #1] stated “run” as she ran inside the front door. [VICTIM #2] stated before she entered the home she saw Sloan pull a black handgun and point it in their direction. [VICTIM #2] advised not long after she heard approximately five gunshots go off. [VICTIM #2] advised she was unaware of where the bullets struck due to her running inside the home.
[VICTIM #2] advised she recorded the entire incident on her phone and it continued recording after she dropped the phone, running into the house. [VICTIM #2] advised another female was inside the vehicle with Sloan but she could not identify her. [VICTIM #2] advised that a white truck was also with them and was possibly driven by a male named [REDACTED]. [VICTIM #2] advised when she retrieved her phone off the porch after they left, she heard several voices telling Sloan to leave and “why couldn’t she have just fought them”. [VICTIM #2] advised her two children [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were inside the residence when the incident occurred. [VICTIM #2] advised no one was injured. [VICTIM #2] stated she did not see any damages to her house or vehicles in the front yard.
I spoke with [VICTIM #1] inside the residence who advised that the incident began at Shackleford Plaza after they left Big Daddy’s. [VICTIM #1] advised that Sloan got irate with [VICTIM #2] in the Shackleford Plaza parking lot because [VICTIM #2] wouldn’t speak to Sloan. [VICTIM #1] advised that Sloan began stating “you ain’t gotta do me like that” and caused a scene. [VICTIM #1] stated the police began clearing out the parking lot so she and [VICTIM #2] left and responded back to [VICTIM #2]’s residence. [VICTIM #1] advised that once they got home, [VICTIM #2] received a message from Sloan on instagram stating she wanted to pull up and fight. [VICTIM #1] advised [VICTIM #2] and Sloan argued back and forth on instagram until they heard a car horn start blowing down the street. [VICTIM #1] advised she and [VICTIM #2] walked onto the front porch and observed a black vehicle stop in front of the house. [VICTIM #1] advised she saw Sloan exit the driver’s side front seat and began stating “yall talking sh*t” and she was going to shoot them. [VICTIM #1] advised when she heard Sloan make that statement she told [VICTIM #2] to run and she ran inside the home. [VICTIM #1] advised [VICTIM #2] wasn’t far behind her when they heard multiple gun shots go off. [VICTIM #1] advised she was unaware that [VICTIM #2] recorded the incident on her phone. [VICTIM #1] advised no one was injured. [VICTIM #1] stated she is unaware of who Sloan was with during the incident.
I watched the video that [VICTIM #2] recorded in which I heard a female voice (Sloan) begin yelling multiple times “yall talking sh*t” and “bi*ch I’ll shoot you”. I observed [VICTIM #2] drop the phone on the front porch, after her and [VICTIM #1] ran inside. As the video progressed, I heard approximately five gunshots go off. I heard several voices yelling after the gunshots went off and a vehicle speeding away. I looked around the residence and the vehicles in the front yard but could not locate any bullet holes. I canvassed the roadway and located one 9mm shell casing in the middle of the road. The scene was photographed and the photos will be logged into evidence at a later time. The shell casing was collected and will be logged into evidence at a later time. A supplement will be completed once the evidence is logged into property management. Lt. Price was notified of the incident. Contact could not be made with Sloan.
[VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] provided written statements that were turned into the law enforcement center (201 W Oglethorpe Blvd). [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] were ran through NCIC/GCIC which showed they were not wanted. An NCIC/GCIC check was conducted on Sloan which showed she was possibly wanted for battery. There are no other videos showing the incident at this time.
This case was forwarded to investigations.
