On March 15, 2026, I Ptl. Whitus, responded in normal mode to [1300 BLOCK] Mercantile Dr. in reference to unwanted guest.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the offender Shanice Threatt who stated her male friend [WITNESS #1] took her phone out of her hands while at this location. I then made contact with [WITNESS #1] who was on the passenger side of [VICTIM #1]’s white in color sedan. While attempting to make contact with [WITNESS #1], Threatt continued to yell and be irate after being given multiple verbal commands to stop yelling and cursing.
[WITNESS #1] stated he arrived back to Albany around 2pm and once he arrived he went to work. [WITNESS #1] stated when he got off from work he walked to [VICTIM #1]’s house. [WITNESS #1] stated when he and [VICTIM #1] came back to the residence after running an errand, they observed Threatt at the location being irate.
While speaking with [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1], Threatt continued to be irate. I then asked Threat if I could check inside of her vehicle for her phone and she advised I could and walked me to the vehicle. After looking inside of the vehicle, I recovered a pink in color Iphone inside of a glitter case inside of the driver side door.
Threatts was placed in double locked handcuffs to the rear, searched incident to arrest, and placed in the rear of patrol vehicle 19-944 where she was transported and turned over to the Dougherty County Jail for disoderly conduct (C/N:G0063093). A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties for any warrants, but was met with negative results.
This incident is cleared by arrest.
