On 8/5/25, we (Ptl. Melanie Guess and Ptl. C. Harrell) responded in normal response mode to [2300 BLOCK] W Gordon Ave Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a rape.
Upon arrival we entered into the apartment where Cpl. Richardson and Ptl. Steele were already on scene. Upon arrival we spoke with Shemeya Kilpatrick who stated she met a guy on the Tinder app who goes by the name [REDACTED]. Shemeya stated this unknown male came over to her apartment where they sat for about 5 minutes in her bedroom. Kilpatrick stated the male asked if she had any alcohol to drink. Kilpatrick stated she told the male she didn’t have anything but they can go to the store. Kilpatrick stated they drove to the store, at the intersection of W. Gordon Ave. and S. Slappey Blvd., in a Silver Honda Pilot displaying GA tag number of what she believed to be [REDACTED] or [REDACTED].
Kilpatrick stated she went into the store at approximately 0146 hrs to buy cigarettes and something to drink. Kilpatrick stated after leaving the store the male made a left turn instead of a right to take her back home. Kilpatrick stated she is new to Albany and just moved here on July 24th, 2025 so she didn’t know where she was. Kilpatrick stated the male said he needed to go get his ID because Albany be tripping if you don’t have it. Kilpatrick stated the male put a folding knife to her neck and told her if she did not do what he said he would leave her body here. Kilpatrick stated the male put his pe*is in her mouth and forced her to perform oral sex on him and she began to vomit. Kilpatrick stated the male made her turn around on the seat while he penetrated her vag*na and an*s while having sexual intercourse against her will. Kilpatrick stated the male didn’t have on a condom and ejaculated in her vag*na.
Kilpatrick stated she begged the male to take her home because she didn’t know where she was after the incident. Kilpatrick stated on the ride home the male took her phone (Black IPhone 13 in a purple case) and unlocked it with her face and began to delete apps and any means of communication they had together while he still had the folding knife. Kilpatrick stated the male looked through her cashapp and chime app looking for money while calling her broke. Kilpatrick stated the male held her at knife point when they arrived back to her home telling her he knows she has money.
