On today (02.10.2026) I, Ptl. Q. Pinkins responded in normal mode to [2200 BLOCK] Bogata Ct in reference to family violence.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Sheniqa High. High stated she was in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, [VICTIM #1]. High stated she had recently got out of the shower and putting on her underwear when [VICTIM #1] came in the bedroom. She stated while putting on her underwear, [VICTIM #1] pushed her into the mirror and she fell.
High stated as she was getting up, she grabbed her phone off the dresser and [VICTIM #1] began choking her and hitting her several times in the face. She stated she then began hitting [VICTIM #1] in the back of his head until he let her go. High advised this incident happened because she told [VICTIM #1] she no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him.
I asked High if she had any surveillance cameras inside of her residence, which she stated no. I asked High if anyone witness this incident, which she stated no. There were no visible injuries to Highs’ face or neck.
I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated High was in a bad mood today. He stated they were arguing last night about bills and him not contributing to the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated he needed a ride to the doctor today, to which he called his daughter and she was unable to take him. He advised he is on driving restrictions due to being injures.
[VICTIM #1] stated he asked High if she could take him, to which got an attitude and told him to call whoever he was on the phone with. He stated he didn’t responded to her and began packing his clothes to leave. [VICTIM #1] stated while he was bent over gathering his clothes, High began hitting him in the back of his head. He stated as he stood up, she fell onto the mirror causing it to crack. I asked [VICTIM #1] if he hit or choke High, which he stated no. [VICTIM #1] advised High was trying to get him in trouble due to him currently being on Probation for a previous domestic with his ex-wife. I observed blood leaking from the knots on the back of [VICTIM #1]’s head.
EMS (MED4) responded to the scene to treat both parties. Photos were taken of the damage and [VICTIM #1]’ injuries. High was placed in double locked handcuffs to the rear, searched incident to arrest, and placed in the backseat of the patrol car. She was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct (BB002428).
High was transported to the Dougherty County Jail. Upon arrival at the jail, my service weapon was secured in the trunk of the patrol car. High was escorted to the intake sally port and was released to intake staff without incident. Before leaving the jail, the backseat of the patrol vehicle was searched for contraband with none being found.
Photos were taken of the damage and injuries. The photos were properly packaged and stored in evidence locker 02. This case is not domestic in nature due to both parties not currently living together.
This case was cleared by arrest.
