I (Ptl. Medlock) responded in normal mode to [2200 BLOCK] Gillionville Rd Apt [REDACTED]. In reference to Disorderly Conduct.

Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] who stated black female identified as Teshana Yarbrough struck her in the face after a confrontation about Teshana and her roommates making too much noise in their upstairs unit. [VICTIM #1] stated Teshana came down yelling asking who was banging on the ceiling which is Teshanas floor. [VICTIM #1] stated her roommate was just trying to get Teshana’s roommates to stop making so much noise. [VICTIM #1] stated while talking to Teshana she became irate and struck her with a close fist on the right side of her face. [VICTIM #1] stated Teshana struck her mutiple times before Teshanas roomates pulled her away and they left.

I made contact with Teshana who stated she came down to attempt to stop arguing between her roommates and her downstairs neighbors. Teshana stated when she began talking to [VICTIM #1] things were peaceful. Teshana stated when [VICTIM #1] got too close to her and began to raise her voice she struck her on the right side of the face with a close fist.

Teshana was placed in double locked handcuffs (to the rear), searched incident to arrest and placed in patrol vehicle(18224). Teshana was placed in a seat belt. Teshana was transported to the Dougherty County Jail and turned over to the jail staff. Prior to entering the jail, my department issued weapons was placed in the trunk of the patrol vehicle. Prior to leaving the jail, the back seat was checked for contraband with negative results. A city citation for Disorderly was formed and taken out on Teshana. A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties for wants/warrants with negative results.

This incident is closed based on arrest
