On 11/27/2025 at approx. 0101 hours, I, Ptl. Slankard, responded in normal patrol mode to [800 BLOCK] Mcintosh Rd in reference to a hit-and-run accident.
Upon arrival, I made contact with B/F Japreuna Milledge and B/F [VICTIM #1] in a red 2021 Toyota Corolla displaying GA tag #[REDACTED]. Japreuna was the driver, and [VICTIM #1] was in the front passenger seat.
Japreuna stated she was traveling west on the 400-BLK of W Broad Ave in the inside lane. Japreuna stated when she changed lanes to get into the outside lane, a blue Chevrolet Malibu displaying GA tag #[REDACTED] came up behind her really fast and hit her vehicle. Japreuna stated the individual stopped for a few seconds and looked at her, then fled the scene. Japreuna stated the driver was a B/М.
Japreuna stated when the individual fled, she followed the vehicle to get the tag number.
I conducted an NCIC search on the tag number Japreuna gave me [REDACTED]. Which came back to a 2021 blue Chevrolet Malibu. It showed the owner of the vehicle is B/F [REDACTED]. There was no phone number attached to [REDACTED]’s profile. [REDACTED]’s address on her profile shows that she lives in Dawson, GA. I was unable to make contact with [REDACTED].
Japreuna was given a citation (D301012) for improper lane change.
Ptl. Bailey made contact with me about this incident. I forward the case number and the vehicle’s tag number to Ptl. Bailey. Ptl. Bailey put the vehicle into FLOCK.
A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties involved, which came back negative for any wants/warrants.
This case remains active.
