On 09/05/25, I (Ptl. M. Holt) responded in normal patrol mode to 2438 Clark Ave. in reference to a Criminal Trespass call.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with a B/F (later identified as [VICTIM #1]) who advised she was being followed by another woman. Ms. [VICTIM #1] reported a B/F (later identified as Yvonne Gatson) has been following her and her boyfriend, a B/M (later identified as [VICTIM #2]) around. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised Ms. Gatson came into the dialysis clinic and began harassing her and calling her out of her name using profane language.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] also advised she asked Ms. Gatson to leave. Ms. [VICTIM #1] later stated Ms. Gatson continued with displaying disrespect, and then Ms. Gatson. walked out of the clinic. Shortly after Ms. Gatson walked out of the clinic, Ms. Gatson walks over to Mr. [VICTIM #2]’s vehicle, a white in color GMC Yukon Truck (displaying Ga Tag #[REDACTED]), opened the passenger front door and began to remove the contents from out of the vehicle which belonged to Ms. [VICTIM #1]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised Mr. [VICTIM #2] and Ms. Gatson were in a previous relationship before. Ms. [VICTIM #1] later stated Ms. Gatson entered into a Blue in color small size Jeep. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was able to provide an address for Ms. Gatson but wasn’t able to provide the apartment number.
I made contact with an employee from the clinic, a B/F (later identified as [WITNESS #1]) who advised she observed Ms. Gatson enter Mr. [VICTIM #2]’s vehicle and remove the contents from inside and scattered them along the ground in the parking lot of the clinic.
I went to Ms. Gatson’s residence of [300 BLOCK] S Mock Rd and observed a Blue in color Jeep Renegade parked in the rear of the apartments, displaying Ga [REDACTED]. After running the tag, it was revealed that Apt [REDACTED] is where she lives and contact was made. Ms. Gatson advised she went to the clinic to tell Mr. [VICTIM #2] that he needed to go see his cousin who was shot recently. Ms. Gatson advised her and Mr. [VICTIM #2] were together approx. 14 years before separating. She expressed how much she has done for him. Ms. Gatson admitted to entering Mr. [VICTIM #2]’s vehicle, took the contents within and threw them out onto the ground. Ms. Gatson denied calling Ms. [VICTIM #1] out of her name.
A NCIC/GCIC search was conducted for wants/warrants on all parties which yielded negative results. Ms. Gatson was placed in double-locked handcuffed to the rear and search incident to arrest. The search yielded negative results for any contraband and weapons. [GATSON] was placed in the rear of patrol vehicle #19-007. An arrest booking card was completed prior to our arrival. Ms. Gatson was not complaining of any injuries at this time. Ms. Gatson was strapped in a safety belt. Gatson was transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
Upon my arrival to the jail, I placed my weapon in the trunk of the patrol vehicle and escorted her into the jail. Ms. Gatson was accepted to the jail without incident. The rear of the patrol vehicle was searched for contraband with negative results.
Warrant 25-012053-01APD and 25-012053-02APD was taken against Yvonne Gatson for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass.
This case is cleared by arrest.
