On 6/25/2025 at/or about 1319 hours, I was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on State Route 92 near Old Lower River Rd, in Douglas County, GA.
Upon arrival, I observed two vehicles that have been involved in a two vehicles accident. Investigating Trooper was advised upon arrival that Driver #1 had fled the scene. Driver #1 was positively identified by a photo taken on the scene and compared to prior booking photos supplied by a Douglas County Deputy on the scene.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Driver #1, H/M Allen Andrade, fled the area after the accident. Investigating Trooper was able to make contact with Vehicle #1’s registered owner, the father of Mr. Andrade. Registered owner was instructed to have Mr. Andrade contact the investigating Trooper on 6/27/2025 to turn himself in before warrants would be taken in reference to the accident.
On 6/27/2025, Mr. Andrade made contact with the investigating Trooper. Mr. Andrade met with the Trooper at the Douglas County Jail, and booking procedures were conducted. Mr. Andrade was released to the Douglas County Jail with no further incident.
