[NARRATIVE #1 on November 04, 2025]
While on patrol, deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 2601 Skyview Drive. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject flee the scene on foot. The suspect was quickly apprehended.
While I was en route, Deputy Calvo contacted me and advised that the female victim had sustained serious injuries and reported being choked by the male subject. Deputy Calvo further advised that he intended to charge the suspect with Aggravated Assault (FVA) and Aggravated Battery (FVA).
Upon my arrival, I briefly spoke with the victim, identified as [VICTIM #1]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] displayed [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that the male had placed her in a headlock, restricting her ability to breathe and causing her to feel as though she was going to lose consciousness.
I contacted Investigators Jones and Wright, who responded to the scene and photographed the victim’s injuries. Deputy Calvo transported the suspect to [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
The scene was turned over to Investigators Jones and Wright, and I returned to service.

[NARRATIVE #2 on November 04, 2025]
On Tuesday 4 November 2025 I Deputy Ricketts Badge #187 Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 2601 Skyview Drive Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122 in reference to a domestic.
Upon arrival, Deputy Calvo (Badge #199) advised over the radio that a male suspect involved in the domestic was running on Skyview Drive toward Thornton Road. Deputy Andrews (Badge #153) and I spotted a man walking on Skyview Drive heading toward Thornton Road. I activated my blue lights, and the male immediately took off running on foot.
Deputy Andrews gave verbal commands for the male to stop, but he continued to flee. I pursued him on foot for a short distance, and once I caught up, he stopped and surrendered without further incident. The male was detained, read his Miranda rights by Deputy Andrews, and agreed to speak with us about the situation.
The individual was identified as Tyrone Ezekiel Daniels. During our conversation, Tyrone said he “couldn’t go to jail” and mentioned that he was a college student. I noticed [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He explained that his girlfriend had bitten his lip and caused the injury.
I conducted a search of Tyrone’s person and found a small, misdemeanor amount of marijuana. Tyrone continued to talk, explaining that he works at Jersey Mike’s and had just gotten off work. He said he had been staying with his girlfriend, and that she has gotten him fired from multiple jobs. Tyrone stated that today, she thought he was cheating after his cell phone was turned off.
Tyrone continued to explain his situation until I interrupted to escort him to where the ambulance was meeting Deputy Calvo and the girlfriend (the victim).
Once on scene, I asked Tyrone why he ran when I activated my blue lights. He said he ran because he was scared. Deputy Calvo later spoke with Tyrone to get his full side of the story in reference to the domestic.
Deputy Calvo took custody of Tyrone, transported him [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to the Douglas County Jail.
Later, I went to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Evidence Room, where I weighed the recovered marijuana at 3.5 grams and logged it into evidence. A citation was issued for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, and a warrant was completed for Misdemeanor Obstruction.
I later returned to patrol duties.

[NARRATIVE #3 on November 04, 2025]
On November 4th, 2025, at approximately 22:11 hours. I, Deputy Calvo, badge #199, was dispatched to a domestic call at 2601 Skyview Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122.
Upon arrival contact was made with [VICTIM #1], who advised me she had been punched by her boyfriend, Tyrone Daniels. [VICTIM #1] advised she picked Tyrone up from his job at Jersey Mike’s located on Thornton Road. Tyrone then started to argue with [VICTIM #1] while she was driving, and she advised him to calm down or she would pull over and call 911.
Tyrone then started to get closer to [VICTIM #1], getting in her face and continuing to argue with her. [VICTIM #1] advised Tyrone, and then he punched her in the face repeatedly and then put her in a chokehold. While [VICTIM #1] was being choked, she believed she may have lost consciousness for a brief moment. Tyrone then got out of the vehicle and left the scene prior to my arrival. I then looked at [VICTIM #1]’s face, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] advised she was unsure when she bit Tyrone on the lip during the altercation. [VICTIM #1] did advise me she was dating Tyrone and advised they currently live together.
Contact was then made with [WITNESS #1], who advised he saw a vehicle stopped in the road, so he pulled over to check if they were okay. [WITNESS #1] advised he then saw Tyrone and [VICTIM #1] both get out of the vehicle and advise him to call 911. [WITNESS #1] advised he then called 911 while Tyrone ran away from the scene towards Thornton Road.
Tyrone was then located by other deputies who responded to the scene, and I made contact with him. Tyrone advised me [VICTIM #1] started to argue with him when she had picked him up from work. During the argument Tyrone advised [VICTIM #1] to bite his lip in the Jersey Mike’s parking lot. Tyrone then advised he told [VICTIM #1] he did not want to go home with her and wanted to get out of the vehicle. Tyrone advised [VICTIM #1] would not let him out of the vehicle, so he grabbed the steering wheel and turned it towards a parking lot.
I then asked Tyrone how [VICTIM #1] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and he advised that he struck her due to [VICTIM #1] not letting him out of the vehicle. Tyrone then advised he was bit once at the Jersey Mike’s parking lot and then again while they were driving and he reached for his backpack located in the back seat of the vehicle. Tyrone advised he only struck [VICTIM #1] when he was bitten by her but kept switching his statement.
Investigator Wright then interviewed Tyrone regarding the incident and took pictures of his lip. I then transported Tyrone to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Jail. Upon arrival, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and turned over to the jail booking staff along with his personal property. I then returned to my assigned patrol duties. Warrants for aggravated battery family violence and aggravated assault strangulation family violence were obtained on Tyrone using the EZ-warrant system.
