[NARRATIVE #1 on May 06, 2025]
On May 6th, 2025 at 0101 I was dispatched to 3638 Hwy 5, Douglasville, GA (Shell Gas Station) in regards to a hit and run. The complainant, [VICTIM #1], advised dispatch that a vehicle had rammed her intentionally multiple times while traveling south on Hwy 5, in the area of 3387 Hwy 5. She advised that the car that had struck her was no longer on scene. Upon my arrival I spoke to [VICTIM #1], who was parked at a gas pump in her Black 2019 Nissan Altima (Tag; [REDACTED]). As she started to explain what had happened she pointed out a black single cab pick-up truck with something hanging out of it’s bed exiting the parking lot. She stated that she believed that was the vehicle that had hit her earlier. I then tried to wave down the truck, but they ignored me and left the parking lot anyways, traveling north onto Hwy 5.
I gave dispatch a brief description of the vehicle and attempted to locate it north of my location on Hwy 5 but could not find it. I then returned to [VICTIM #1] and asked her to explain what had happened. She stated that while driving south on Hwy 5 at the above mentioned location she noticed a set of headlights quickly approaching her from behind. She said she switched lanes to avoid being hit, but the approaching vehicle also switched lanes and rear ended her. [VICTIM #1] said that she then switched lanes again, but they vehicle copied her movements again and rammed her a second time. [VICTIM #1] said that she then tried to lose the following vehicle by turning into a neighborhood off of Hwy 5 (Lyndale St). She said that they continued to follow her into the neighborhood. [VICTIM #1] then pulled into someone’s driveway in an attempt to turn around so she could leave the neighborhood. She said that she was unable to back back out though, since the vehicle followed her into the driveway.
[VICTIM #1] said that she then proceeded to drive through the yard at this address before getting back on the roadway, driving toward Hwy 5. [VICTIM #1] said that they truck continued to follow her. She then got back onto Hwy 5 traveling south, eventually pulling into the Shell Gas Station we were currently at. She said that the truck pulled in behind her, but after stopping briefly at one of the pumps it entered back onto Hwy 5, traveling south. As [VICTIM #1] told me this Ofc Stephens (#217) with the Douglasville Police Department located the described truck, traveling east on I-20, traveling away from Hwy 5. He attempted to stop the truck, but it immediately fled from him. He then pursued it until it wrecked at the Weigh Station on I-20 between Lee Rd and Thronton Rd. The driver, Victor Dominguez, was arrested on scene by Ofc Stephens. His case number is 25004891.
Trooper Hicks (#559) with Georgia State Patrol worked that accident. He advised that Victor was going to be transported to Cobb Wellstar due to injuries he received in that accident. Upon checking Flock for both [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle and Victor’s vehicle (Black 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab, Tag; [REDACTED]) I saw that he had scanned at the same Southbound camera on Hwy 5 at I-20 as [VICTIM #1], approximately three seconds after she did. I was also able to check the security footage at the Shell, which confirmed that he also followed [VICTIM #1] into the parking lot. Photographs of the damage done to [VICTIM #1]’s car were taken and a recording of the security footage was also uploaded to a disk and placed into evidence. I completed warrants on Victor for Criminal Damage to Property in the Fist Degree, Hit and Run, and Aggravated Assault. This narrative was printed and placed in the warrants box in the patrol muster room. Additionally, Victor struck two mailboxes while chasing [VICTIM #1] on Lyndale St. Deputy Moore (#288) responded to that scene. I also completed two additional warrants for criminal trespass – damage to property (Less than $500) for each mailbox that was damaged. His case numbers are R2506626 and R2506628.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 06, 2025]
On May 6, 2025 at approximately 0120 hours I responded to the area of [5900 BLOCK] Lyndale Street in reference to damage to a mailbox that had just recently occurred. Upon arrival in the area I observed what appeared to be vehicle tire marks that crossed over Lyndale Street and into the yard area of [5900 BLOCK] lyndale Street and over the mailbox for [5900 BLOCK] Lyndale Street which was lying over and the mailbox hanging from the mailbox post. I spoke with the home owner, [VICTIM #2] who stated that he heard a commotion outside while he was inside his residence and when he walked outside he noticed his mailbox was damaged. [VICTIM #2] advised that he did not see anyone or a vehicle that was responsible for damaging his mailbox and post. [VICTIM #2] estimated the damage to his metal mailbox and 4×4 wooden post to cost approximately $350 USD to replace.
A witness at [5900 BLOCK] Lyndale Street, [WITNESS #1] stated that he was outside smoking a cigarette when he observed a small black car being followed by a black pickup truck, turn onto Lyndale Street from Highway 5. [WITNESS #1] stated that the balck truck struck the black car in the rear as they were on Lyndale Street after turning. [WITNESS #1] advised that the balck car continued to travel down yndale Street and the balck truck went into his neighbors yard. [WITNESS #1] stated a few minutes later he saw both, black car and black truck come back down Lyndale Street and turn right onto Highway 5 heading south with the truck following the black car.
Though [WITNESS #1] is elderly, a short written statement was obtained from [WITNESS #1]. The written statement was placed in the incident report tray located in the Patrol Muster Room to be scanned and added to this report.
This report is also in relation to the accident report completed by Deputy C. Crumley #235, Accident report # R2506625 for hit and run and also another damage to property report for [5900 BLOCK] Lyndale Street (R2506628) completed by Deputy S. Moore #288. Deputy C. Crumely #235 completed warrants and a accident report for the damage to property.
