On 03/05/2025 I met with [VICTIM #1] at the hospital in reference to an aggravated battery. [VICTIM #1] stated that she came home after visiting her grand daughter and her husband, Larry Murrell, started telling her what to do. She stated that Larry got mad when she told him not to tell her what to do and they began arguing. She said she was going to leave and go to her son’s residence and that was when Larry threw a glass at her striking her in the left eye. I observed that [VICTIM #1] had a badly bruised left eye and she was not able to open the eye. I asked if she knew if it was just a black eye and she said the doctor informed her that her lens was dislocated and required possible surgery. I gave [VICTIM #1] a case card and advised her of victims witness. I then went to [200 BLOCK] Reidsville Road to make contact with Larry.
No one answered the door at [200 BLOCK] Reidsville Road. I attempted to contact Larry through a number we had in our system and could not make contact that way either. A warrant for Larry will be secured for his arrest.
