On November 6, 2025 I responded to an accident with possible injuries. Upon arrival I spoke with Ofc. Nelson with Port Wentworth and he stated that one of the drivers later identified as Leticia Jordan was observed walking towards Exit 109 upon them being dispatched to an accident with possible injuries.
It was later determined that the accident was in our jurisdiction. Ofc. Nelson stated that she was told to return to the scene. Upon gathering information for the accident report it was determined that Ms. Jordan did not own a driver’s license.
Ms. Jordan stated that she was not the person that was driving and that her cousin was driving. There was no sign of her cousin. She stated that he got picked up on the side of the interstate.
Ms. Jordan was placed in handcuffs where she was then transported to the jail by Cpl. Hutto and Dep. Kanavos.
Ms. Jordan was charged with driving unlicensed, hit and run, and unsafe operation of a vehicle. Her citations were turned over to jail staff to be left in her property.
