On 1/6/2026 I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Goshen Commercial Park Dr. to follow up on an earlier complaint of a disorderly person. Complainant [WITNESS #1] had called back to report that Madison Trenary, an individual she had called about earlier in the day, had returned and was standing outside her door yelling profanities.

While en route to the address I was informed by dispatch that a second complainant, [WITNESS #2], the property manager for the apartment complex, had called and reported that Trenary had made her way to the front office and was now being disorderly with her. Dispatchers advised that they could hear Trenary yelling in the background while speaking with [WITNESS #2].

Upon my arrival Trenary was still standing with [WITNESS #2] outside of the front office and was yelling at her. Attempting to ascertain the cause of the disturbance from Trenary proved unsuccessful as she repeatedly spoke nonsensical phrases and went off on tangents that had no relevance to the situation at hand. [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #1] were also unable to tell me what had upset Trenary but stated that her outbursts had been an ongoing issue and seemed to be getting worse over time.

Based on what I was told of Trenary’s actions prior to my arrival and Trenary’s observed actions before she realized I was on scene she was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the Effingham County Jail to be booked.
