Southampton Village (Splash Pool), located at 200 Carriage Oak Dr Tyrone, GA 30290, received a score of 65 points out of a possible 100 points during their 09/10/2026 inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Inspector Notes: The gate is propped open with a rock and unauthorized access is not actively prohibited. HOA member Yvonne, indicates the the pool closed on 9/7/26 for the season. She indicates the lawn company props the gates open and she has asked them not to do that for liability reasons. The lawn company is present at this time and the company leaves and does not close the gate. Yvonne calls the company right then and indicates that the gate can not be propped open. Inspector Notes: The waterslide entry gate is left open and no attendant is on duty. HOA representative indicates the pool is closed for the season. However, previous notes of gate propped open and log notes can easily be misleading that bathers are allowed to swim. Code: .20(3)(p) An attendant must be on duty at all times while a water slide is open for use. The attendant shall serve as the safety director of the slide.
Additional remarks:
Facility is technically closed. There is a sign on the gate that indicates the pool is closed. However, the gate has been propped open with a rock and if someone came to use the pool, they would not see the sign. Additionally, the sign in log for the pool is present on the outdoor table.
No reinspection will be done since the pools are closed for the season.
