PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. – Seven people were arrested last week following a raid on a home in Paulding County where deputies said a teenage girl was beaten and sexually assaulted during a house party involving underage drinking.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said a 13-year-old, Ja’loni Daniel, is being charged as an adult for her alleged role in the attack. Daniel and 17-year-old Ranaija White reportedly physically assaulted the teen before three other suspects, 21-year-old Deontaye Parker and 17-year-old Jabari Scott, allegedly sexually assaulted the victim inside the home.

Three adults present at the party, 23-year-old Noah Brooks, 59-year-old Sarah Miles, and 36-year-old Keisha Scott, were also charged. Miles, the homeowner and grandmother, “knew what had been taking place there and essentially turned a blind eye to it,” Public Information Officer Jordan Yuodis said.

Authorities said the raid, which involved deputies and a SWAT team, marked the fourth time the property on Cohran Store Road in Douglasville had been searched following complaints from neighbors, many of whom declined to speak on camera due to safety concerns.

Investigators said the assault occurred during a house party where other minors were drinking alcohol. The teen was reportedly beaten before being sexually assaulted by multiple suspects. Authorities also confirmed that the suspects allegedly attempted to obtain control of the victim’s personal information during the incident.

The Paulding County District Attorney’s Office is working to seize the home. Officials said the property will be cleaned and sold to families after being taken over as part of the county’s efforts to shut down nuisance properties.

“This raid is part of a larger effort to combat gangs, drugs, and guns in Paulding County,” Yuodis said. “We are committed to holding offenders accountable and removing unsafe properties from our neighborhoods.”

Sheriff Ashley Henson said the county has closed multiple drug houses this year and emphasized that taking ownership of properties linked to crime is part of a broader public safety initiative.

All seven individuals arrested during the Paulding County raid face a range of charges. Sarah Miles and Keisha Scott were charged with maintaining a disorderly house, with Scott also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Noah Brooks was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Deontaye Parker, Jabari Scott, Ja’loni Daniel (charged as an adult), and Ranaija White all face multiple serious charges, including aggravated sodomy, aggravated assault, battery, and participation in criminal gang activity, with Parker and Daniel also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities encouraged anyone with information about the case or the property to contact the sheriff’s office.
