FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – An Atlanta Police spokesperson confirmed that a man plummeted to his death from a high-rise building downtown on Friday, December 13, 2024, and a woman was discovered inside an apartment suffering from both stab and gunshot wounds. The woman was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police are working to determine the details and disclosed that the two incidents were likely related, with the man possibly jumping from the window to end his life. Authorities responded to the Piedmont Avenue NE location near the Hilton Atlanta hotel just before 2:30 PM.
