The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on April 24, 2024:
BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a commercial armed robbery suspect. The incident occurred on April 24, 2024, just after 11:00 p.m., at the Lucky Food Mart located at 807 Main Street.
It was reported that a masked individual entered the store and approached the clerk at the counter. The suspect brandished a firearm and discharged a round, warning the clerk to step away.
The suspect grabbed the cash register from behind the counter and fled the business on foot towards Fairview Avenue. No one was harmed during the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white sneakers, and a gray face covering. He is between 5 foot 10 to 6 feet in height.
