Richmond County (February 26, 2023) – Officers responded to an assault at a Fairhope Street apartment and spoke with the victim’s mother. She said she had received a phone call from her niece that her juvenile non-verbal autistic daughter was giving oral sex to a man named “Rico.”
The victim’s brother explained that he came out of his bedroom and saw a man he did not recognize sitting on the couch in the living room with his sister. Both he and the victim’s cousin stated they had not witnessed any sexual activity between the two; however, the juvenile had made an oral sex gesture as a signal to them. The child’s mother stated that she believed “Rico” lived in a nearby apartment building but wasn’t certain.
Siricco Wilson was identified as the suspect, and the victim’s mother informed officers that she observed him leave in a black Hyundai Elantra later in the day.
Police were able to locate Wilson, and he was arrested and charged with aggravated child molestation on February 28. This case is pending in court.

On Sunday, February 26th, 2023, at 0642 hours, I, Deputy Justin LaCroix (1104, C589), and Corporal J. Turner (C10), responded to [600 BLOCK] Fairhope Street, Walton Oaks, Apartment [REDACTED BY AGENCY], in reference to an assault.
Upon my arrival, I met with the complainant, mother, [REDACTED], who stated she received a telephone call from listed witness, niece, [WITNESS #1], who advised her daughter, listed other, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], was giving oral sex to listed other, “RICO”. [REDACTED] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is non verbal autistic.
[REDACTED] stated she was not on scene at the time of incident. [REDACTED] stated she believes “RICO” lives in the [REDACTED] building of [600 BLOCK] Fairhope Street, Walton Oaks, but does not know for sure. [REDACTED] did not have any other information on “RICO” at the time of call.
[REDACTED] describes “RICO” as black male, approximately 6’02” in height, approximately 160 pounds, mid to late 30s, and stated he frequents the Discount Stop, 545 Sand Bar Ferry Road, Augusta, GA 30901. Corporal J. Turner canvassed the [REDACTED] building and surrounding areas looking for anyone matching the description of “RICO” with negative contact.
I spoke with listed other, brother to [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [WITNESS #2], who stated [WITNESS #1] came in his bedroom and stated there was a man in the living room. [WITNESS #2] stated he walked to the living room and there was a man on the couch with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], but did not witness any sexual activities. [WITNESS #2] stated when he walked in the living room the male left the residence. [WITNESS #2] stated he did not recognize the man in the living room.
I attempted to obtain a statement from listed witness, [WITNESS #1], but she refused to wake up and speak with me after multiple attempts of trying to get her to speak. [REDACTED] also attempted to get [WITNESS #1] to give a statement but was refused. [REDACTED] was issued an RCSO case card and advised on how to obtain a copy of the report. RCSO issued body cam active.
On Sunday, February 26th, 2023, at 1035 hours, I, Deputy Justin LaCroix (1104, C589), responded back to [600 BLOCK] Fairhope Street, Walton Oaks, Apartment [REDACTED BY AGENCY], in reference to additional information.
Upon my arrival, I met with the complainant, mother, [REDACTED], who stated she observed “RICO” walk out of the [REDACTED] building, and get in to the listed vehicle, black, Hyundai Elantra, and leave the area. [REDACTED] stated she is unaware who was driving the vehicle, but was able to obtain a tag of GA: [REDACTED].
I spoke with witness, [WITNESS #1], who stated she wanted to give a statement at the time of supplemental information. [WITNESS #1] stated that at approximately 0300 hours, on today’s date, she walked in the residence and observed “RICO” sitting on the couch with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [WITNESS #1] stated she did not observe any sexual activity. [WITNESS #1] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] later gave a non verbal cue to her that appeared to be a giving oral sex gesture.
