HALL COUNTY, Ga. – A Hall County woman remains behind bars after being arrested on a felony charge of aggravated child molestation involving a teenage girl, authorities said.

Jessica Faye Adcock, 32, of Gainesville, was arrested last Friday and is charged with one count of aggravated child molestation, according to jail and court records. The alleged abuse occurred over a five-week period between April 17 and May 20, 2025, at Adcock’s residence, investigators said.

An arrest warrant states the victim, a girl under the age of 16, disclosed the alleged abuse earlier this month to a school counselor. The counselor then reported the allegations to authorities, triggering the investigation. Officials said the victim and Adcock were known to each other, though the nature of their relationship has not been publicly detailed.

It is unclear what led the teen to come forward in January 2026, nearly eight months after the alleged incidents ended. Authorities have not said whether additional victims are being investigated.

As of Tuesday, Adcock remained in the Hall County Jail. Court records do not indicate whether she has retained an attorney or if a bond hearing has been scheduled. The case remains under investigation.
