RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a rape and aggravated assault reported earlier this week in Richmond County.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said Leland Tyrone Candidate, 46, is being sought in connection with an incident that occurred Tuesday in the 400 block of Greene Street.
Candidate is described as a Black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. Investigators believe he may be driving a 2006 gold Nissan Murano bearing South Carolina license plate 137BTU.
