UPSON COUNTY, GA – The 29-year-old accused of attacking his pregnant ex-girlfriend is facing up to life in prison if convicted on any number of the new felony charges filed against him in superior court this morning.
Cody Mitchell Weems, who already has a long history of arrests, now faces several new felonies stemming from an alleged attack on his ex-girlfriend Sunday morning.
Weems is facing a single count each of:
- Assault on an Unborn Child
- Aggravated Assault
- Aggravated Battery
- Aggravated Sexual Battery
- Kidnapping
- Burglary
- Battery
