COBB COUNTY, Ga. – Grammy-winning performer and Atlanta native Usher will be honored by the Atlanta Braves during their June 18 home game against the New York Mets at Truist Park with a dedicated celebration night featuring a custom bobblehead giveaway and themed fan experiences.
The first 15,000 fans entering the ballpark will receive a limited-edition Usher bobblehead, which showcases the artist in a signature pose emblematic of his ties to Atlanta’s culture. The figurine highlights the artist’s iconic “Peace Up, A-Town Down” gesture and sports a stylized Braves look, including a hat bearing the upside-down “A” logo and a pair of rollerskates—an homage to his well-known style and musical performances.
Pre-game festivities at The Battery Atlanta will spotlight Usher’s musical legacy with a playlist of his most popular tracks, setting the tone for the evening. The celebration extends beyond music with a themed food truck, the Coming Home Diner, offering dishes inspired by his career, such as fried fish, shrimp, grits, and lemon-pepper wings, named after his chart-topping hits, “OMG,” “My Way,” and “Yeah!”
In collaboration with the Braves retail team, Usher has also developed a capsule merchandise collection that merges his fashion sense with Atlanta’s sports culture. The exclusive apparel will be available only at the Braves Clubhouse Store and Threads in The Battery starting the day of the event.
This tribute continues the Braves’ ongoing efforts to recognize influential figures from the Atlanta area, reinforcing the team’s connection to the city’s broader cultural and entertainment community.
Tickets for the June 18 matchup and celebration are available through the Braves’ official website.
