WILCOX COUNTY, Ga. – On Friday, June 21, 2024, the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the GBI with an investigation into an alleged inappropriate relationship between an adult male and a former student, which resulted in an arrest.
Lorenzo Dennard, a 34-year-old Atkinson County man, faces 77 counts of sexually exploiting children, three counts of electronically furnishing obscene material to a minor, and one count of improper sexual contact by an employee.
Dennard, a former Wilcox County coach and teacher, was released from the Wilcox County Jail on a bond.
