Gwinnett County (October 19, 2022) – Attorney General Chris Carr announced the indictment of a Gwinnett County man accused of trafficking a 25-year-old woman for sex and charged with one count of trafficking of persons for sexual servitude.

Sean Curry has been under investigation for allegations of trafficking since January 2022. Curry allegedly sold the 25-year-old woman at multiple locations in Gwinnett County between January and August of 2022, using coercion, threats, and physical violence to keep the woman under his control. He also allegedly took money from the sale of the victim.

The case is currently under investigation by the Gwinnett County Sherriff’s Office Special Investigations Section, with assistance from the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Curry is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond pending trial. According to the Attorney General, if convicted on the trafficking charge, he could face life in prison.
