Warning: The following report describes sexual violence and may be offensive to some readers.
Camden County (September 12, 2022) – Kingsland police charged a man with aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment for forcing his wife to stay in a hotel room, pointing a shotgun at her during an argument, then making her perform oral sex on him.
Allen Hector Black was also charged with family violence, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His wife called for help when he fell asleep after 3:00 AM and told the 911 dispatcher her husband pointed a shotgun at her and then strangled her until she was dizzy. Black told his wife she wasn’t going anywhere and made her lie down, then sodomized her. She was kept in the room with him for four hours against her will.
Responding officers found Black asleep in the hotel room with a black Mossberg shotgun beside the bed. They also noted several knives and swords in the room, opened beer cans, and the victim’s underwear. One of the swords was hidden in the ceiling rafters.
Upon questioning, Black denied holding the victim against her will and sarcastically responded to police, “Is she here now?” He insisted that if he was keeping her in the room then she would still be there. He told the officers he had videos of his wife having sex with other people and showed them a cell phone video. The cell phone had been hidden in the room to record his wife while Black was away for one hour. He claimed multiple people were in the room, describing the sex acts they committed with his wife, but the video showed only Black’s wife in the room. He also claimed there was hotel security footage of three people entering and leaving his hotel room while he was away for twenty minutes on another occasion.
Black’s wife said she watched the CCTV video with the motel manager, and there was no one in that video either, but Black insisted he could see their shadows.
According to police, Black has a criminal history with multiple DUI and domestic violence arrests and a felony charge for unemployment compensation fraud. He was booked into the Camden County Jail.
Black pled guilty to a probated sentence in the Camden Superior Court and was sentenced on October 19. Judge R. Lane sentenced Black to 10 years probation, a $2,000 fine, and 100 hours of community service. The judge also ordered Black to undergo alcohol abuse and mental health evaluations.
Black was released into his wife’s custody and is awaiting sentencing for his original probation violation.

While on patrol units were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the location above. Below are the facts surrounding this incident.
The caller, identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she was being held against her will for approximately four hours by her husband.
Upon arrival myself, Officer Thornton, and Officer McKenzie made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was waiting outside the hotel lobby. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] says that her husband pointed a black shotgun at her and told her she wasn’t leaving. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he has been drinking heavily. During this time, she states he also forced her to perform oral sex on him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] old us we could enter the room so we asked for her room key. We told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to wait there while we made contact with her husband who we later identified as Allen Black. Officer Thornton knocked on the door then used the electronic keycard to open the door. The three of us made entry into the room and noticed Allen lying in bed asleep. Immediately to Allen’s side on the floor was a black Mossberg 12gauge shotgun.
Officer McKenzie and Thornton quickly secured the shotgun as I woke-up Allen. Once awake I introduced myself and asked if he would like to put some clothes on. Allen grabbed a pair of pants from the floor and put them on. I allowed Allen to move from the bed to the sofa so we could discuss the events from this morning. Throughout the room Allen had a number of knives along with a two swords one of which appeared to be hidden up in a ceiling rafter. Multiple cans of opened beers could be seen in the room.
I asked Allen what was going on, why would we be called here? Allen said he was unsure. I asked if he and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had been fighting or argumentative at any point this evening and he said no. I asked Allen if he had an issue earlier with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] wanting to leave and he said “is she here now”. Allen repeated this a number of times eluding to the fact that if he wanted her to stay she would be in the room. I told Allen I am referring to prior to him falling asleep.
I asked Allen if there was an history of domestic violence between he and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] has [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ever been physical with him or he with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He said no. While we were in the room speaking Officer McKenzie was outside with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was writing a statement. Allen said [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left between 2pm and 5pm to bring her mother to a memorial service. Allen was at work at this time but returned to the room around 10pm (9/11/22). Allen insisted that there were no issues between he and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I asked if he were seeing someone else or if he believed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was seeing someone else romantically and he said “listen to this and you tell me”.
At this time Allen grabbed his cellphone and pulled up a video. He explained that on Tuesday September 6th he hid his phone in the room while he’d be out for an hour or so. The phone was hidden between the bed and nightstand facing the opposite wall. This view would capture anyone walking by. Allen told me that someone threw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] down on the bed and had sex with her and ejaculated in her mouth. He also said that whoever was in the room was hiding in the bathroom prior to him leaving.
I watched the video and could only hear the tv playing but did see the bed shift as if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had sat down on it. I also explained that in the video I did not see any other people walk by until he re-entered the room. From Allen’s statement there would have been three other people in the room at that time along with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] again I saw and heard no one else.
Allen also said that September 8th while he was out for approximately 20 minutes he came back and saw three unknown subjects leaving the room. He said he asked the hotel manager to replay the cctv footage and he could not make out who was entering/exiting the room but he could see shadows. I asked Allen to explain the marks I could see on [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s face that were consistent with her being grabbed by her face and he replied that “how do I know that didn’t happen outside the room since she wasn’t here while I was sleeping”.
I relocated outside to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She said that once Allen came home from work he became upset and began arguing. She says he pointed the shotgun towards her and told her she’s not leaving. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he’s been mad before but never like this, never like she was afraid for her life. While examining [REDACTED BY AGENCY] for signs of a physical struggle I could see on her left temple what looked to be dried blood from being grabbed and scratched with a fingernail. This is consistent with how [REDACTED BY AGENCY] described Allen grabbed her by the face.
She said Allen used one hand to place around her throat until she began to feel dizzy while he placed his other hand across her face while telling her she wasn’t leaving. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that after that she was afraid to leave the room because she wasn’t sure what he would do. She said Allen got undressed and got in bed and had her laydown too. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said against her will Allen pulled her panties off and attempted to have intercourse but because he was unable to get an erection so he grabbed her by the back of the head and forced her to perform oral sex. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said once Allen went to sleep she came outside and called 911.
I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] about the hidden cellphone video and she said there was nobody in the room with her, she was alone watching tv while Allen was only a half-block away working. I also asked about the three subjects he supposedly saw coming in/out the room on cctv, she said she watched the video with the hotel manager and there was nobody there.
I went back into the hotel room to continue speaking with Allen. While talking I could see [REDACTED BY AGENCY]s panties on the ground near the bed in the pathway to the bathroom. This was the only item of clothing I noticed out of place from [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. It appeared other soiled clothes were placed in a corner or a basket. Allen had his dirty clothes that he had worn that day laying on the floor next to the bed.
At this time, I placed Allen under arrest. He was placed in handcuffs which were double-locked and finger-spaced. He was placed in the rear of Officer McKenzie’s patrol car and transported to Camden County Jail and booked accordingly.
Warrants were issued on the following charges:
Aggravated Sodomy
Battery FVA
False Imprisonment
Aggravated Assault
Poss of a firearm by a convicted felon
While still on scene I requested a criminal history thru NCIC/GCIC to dispel or verify any felony convictions due to there being a weapon present. While reviewing Allen’s history I could see in Florida where he was convicted on 4-29-1992 of a Felony in the 3rd degree for the charge of Unemployment Compensation Fraud. Allen also had a number of Domestic Violence arrest along with DUI’s.
