Man arrested after allegedly attempting to kidnap two 12-year-old girls in Glynn County

The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Glynn County Police Department on November 28, 2025.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – One man is under arrest following a report of an attempted kidnapping involving two 12 year old girls on Burnett Road near New Jesup Highway.

On November 27, GCPD officers were dispatched after receiving a 911 call reporting that the two juveniles had been approached by an adult male who attempted to grab their arms and get the girls to go with him.

Patrol officers quickly located the suspect still in the area and detained him. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded, interviewed witnesses and the suspect, gathered evidence, and continued the investigation.

As a result, 21-year old Evert Amaya Luna was arrested and charged with two counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.
