FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – On March 1, 2025, the finale of a new singing competition series focused on soul music will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Stonecrest, Georgia. The epic new competition, American Soul Star, featured free auditions and will offer a $50,000 record deal to the grand prize winner.

The Avant-Garde Entertainment, Inc. record deal will be executively produced by Grammy-winning producer Zaytoven. The multiple-episode event will stream on Tubi and highlight soul artists from all over the country.

The competition partnered with Atlanta’s top urban radio station, V-103, to produce the exciting new series. Round one was held on January 18, round two on January 25, round three on February 1, and round four on February 15.

The competition began in Stonecrest with a group of hopeful contestants in round one who sang up to one minute of a song of their choice in a cappella and were whittled down to 50 who were allowed one minute to sing an a cappella song, then to 40, who had two minutes with instrumental accompaniment. The chosen 25 performed in Atlanta with a show track for up to three minutes, and then, the final group of 10 will perform two songs, three minutes each, alongside show tracks. One winner will be chosen from the remaining 10 participants.
