HART COUNTY, Ga. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested a former Hart County High School paraprofessional after the Hartwell Police Department requested assistance on April 11 with a child molestation case. The 27-year-old Bowersville man faces charges of tampering with evidence, sexual assault by a person with supervisory/disciplinary authority, and two counts of attempted sexual assault by a person with supervisory/disciplinary authority.
Keenan Anderson is accused of an incident that occurred while he was employed at the school. He resigned after the allegations and remains detained at the Hart County jail awaiting trial.
This investigation is active. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding this case to please contact the Athens GBI Regional Investigative Office.
Anonymous tips can be submitted to the GBI as well. When the investigation is complete, the case will be transferred to the Northern Judicial Circuit for prosecution.
