GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Suwanee Police officers conducted a traffic stop and arrested 24-year-old Memphis rapper Gloria Hallelujah Woods, known as GloRilla, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Woods faces charges of DUI, failure to obey a traffic control device, and possessing an open container of alcohol.

Officers pulled over her vehicle at approximately 4:00 AM for making a U-turn at Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Suwanee Walk Avenue while the traffic light was red. Police revealed that she failed a field sobriety test after officers noticed her watery, red eyes and smelled alcohol on her breath and marijuana emanating from the vehicle.

Woods stated that she and her brother were driving home from an Atlanta venue. According to police reports, she confessed to drinking and said it did not matter because she was OK to drive.

Officers noted that her right breast slipped out from her clothing during the sobriety test, but she remained “unable to realize” that it was visible. They located an open container and marijuana inside the vehicle.

According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, Woods was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail and released on a $1,956 bond hours later. This case is pending.

Woods gained popularity for her top-50 2022 song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” and reached Billboard’s top 40 in 2024 with “Yeah Glo!” She is co-headlining the Hot Girl Summer Tour 2024 with Megan the Stallion, which includes two dates in Atlanta, May 31 and June 1.
