FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – A former FBI agent has been arrested twice in recent months in Forsyth County on multiple child molestation and related charges involving two victims, according to authorities.
Sean Patrick Mullis, 58, of Cumming, was first taken into custody on Aug. 20 and charged with two counts of child molestation, three counts of tampering with evidence, and two counts of eavesdropping or unlawful surveillance, according to Forsyth County Jail records.
He was arrested again on Sept. 23 after investigators identified a second victim. During that arrest, Mullis was charged with child molestation and sexual battery against a child under 16.
Authorities said the investigation began earlier this year after reports surfaced involving inappropriate contact with minors. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has not released details about how Mullis knew the victims or where the alleged incidents occurred.
The case is ongoing, and investigators said additional charges are possible as they continue to review evidence.
