FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities are searching for the boyfriend of a woman discovered shot to death, lying in a ditch near Azalea Drive and Atlanta Street on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Roswell Police officers responded and found Blanca Sauer, 47, after a witness reported spotting a possible dead body.
A police spokesperson disclosed Sauer sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Evidence led them to believe that the victim was murdered elsewhere and transported to where she was found.
Authorities shared the identity of the suspect, Sauer’s 49-year-old boyfriend, Roberto Dominguez Soto, who is listed as armed and dangerous. The suspect is also wanted on firearms-related charges by Interpol.
Local, state, federal, and international agencies have initiated a joint effort for Dominguez Soto’s capture.
Roswell Police Chief James Conroy expressed, “This is a heartbreaking situation, especially during the holiday season, and our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Ms. Sauer. We are committed to bringing justice to those affected by this senseless act of targeted violence.”
