FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – The Roswell Police Department has requested the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation regarding an officer-involved shooting that took place in the early morning hours of March 23rd. One suspect was shot by an officer. No officers were injured.

Shortly after 1 am on March 23rd, Roswell E-911 began receiving multiple calls from staff and patrons at Mazzy’s Sports Bar and Grill, located at 10729 Alpharetta Hwy., in reference to an unruly patron who was armed with a handgun and pointing it at others. Upon officers arrival to the scene, they were immediately confronted by the suspect, a 34-year-old male, just inside the front doors of the bar.
