Wanted man, woman captured after leading deputies on chase, ramming patrol cars

The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on April 24, 2024:

BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrests a suspect involved in a vehicle pursuit which led to an assault on Law Enforcement Officers. The incident occurred after deputies attempted to perform a traffic stop on Broadway, Wednesday afternoon.

On April 24, 2024, at 1:42 p.m., an Investigator spotted two wanted individuals in a white GMC Denali traveling north on Broadway. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.

While fleeing, the driver intentionally rammed two deputies patrol vehicles. Deputies were able to apprehend the suspects immediately afterwards on Eisenhower Parkway. No one was injured.

The driver was identified as 34-year-old Dennis Duane Coley II of Macon. Dennis Coley was wanted in Bibb County for Felony Theft by Taking, and Second-Degree Criminal Damage to Property.

The passenger was identified as 36-year-old Heather Alaina Keene of Macon. Heather Keene was wanted in Bibb County for Felony Theft by Taking, Second-Degree Criminal Damage to Property, and Battery.

Dennis Duane Coley II and Heather Alaina Keene were both transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where their warrants were served. Dennis Duane Coley II faces charges of Driving on a Suspended License, Felony Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement Officers, and Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer. Coley nor Keene have a bond at this time.
