On Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at the time of 0554, I, OFC Cook, arrived on scene at [900 BLOCK] Darlington Way SW, Rome, GA 30161 in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant/victim, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] advised that just prior to calling 911, his girl friend, Amariah Pollard, became very aggressive due to being intoxicated. [VICTIM #1] advised that as Amariah became more and more aggressive, she then picked up a battery charging pack and threw it at the living room window of the apartment, then breaking the glass window pane. [VICTIM #1] advised that this is when he decided to call 911.
We then made contact with Amariah where she was sleeping in a bedroom located in the back of the apartment. Amariah was awoken and guided to the living room where she was interviewed. Upon asking Amariah what took place, she refused to give any information in reference to this incident other than her name and date of birth. While on scene, Amariah numerously stated “they’re taking me to jail.” to [VICTIM #1]. I then asked Amariah why we would be taking her to jail where she again remained quiet and refused to answer any questions about the incident.
I then began to mediate between Amariah and [VICTIM #1] as Amariah was becoming aggressive toward [VICTIM #1]. Amariah then attempted to push past myself and PFC Clime in an attempt to get to [VICTIM #1]. Amariah again attempted this where I then grabbed her left wrist and arm while PFC Clime grabbed her right wrist and arm in an attempt to gain control of her and de-escalate the situation. Amariah then became more aggressive where she began bucking and attempting to escape.
Amariah was then pushed against a wall inside of the apartment where she then kicked PFC Clime in the leg and additionally attempted to elbow him in the chest. Amariah was then secured in hand cuffs as she was placed under arrest. Amariah was then assisted to the patrol vehicle where she again began bucking in an attempt to escape. At one point Amariah was carried as she refused to walk to the patrol vehicle. Amariah was then placed into the back seat of the patrol vehicle where she attempted to place her foot underneath the door to prevent it from closing where she was then pulled into the patrol vehicle from the other side.
Once Amariah was secured in the patrol vehicle she then began to kick the Plexiglas which divides the front and rear seats. While PFC Clime remained on scene and provided victim’s bill of rights information to [VICTIM #1], I then transported Amariah to the Floyd County Jail where she was booked. The rear passenger compartment of the patrol vehicle was searched before and after prisoner transport. No contraband was discovered.
There were no injuries reported during this incident. A response to resistance/aggression form was completed and is attached to this report. Additionally, I inspected the rear passenger compartment of the patrol vehicle for any damage. I did not observe any damage.
[End of Narrative]
