On Saturday, November 22, 2025 I observed officers in the area of Broad St and 3rd Ave where they were on scene in reference to a suspicious person call. Upon making contact with officer Rains who advised me they were out with Blake Brownholtz waiting for an uber due to his admitted, intoxicated state while in public.

I was also advised by officer Rains that the complainant stated me Brownholtz was observed dropping his pants and defecating at the Broad St and 3rd Ave intersection. Pfc Coleman and I then walked the 200 block of Broad St in an attempt to locate any evidence. At the intersection where [WITNESS #1] stated he observed Mr Brownholtz defecate there was in fact feces on the sidewalk and partially in the roadway at the curb.

Pfc White then contacted Mr [WITNESS #1] again to see if he would be willing to be a witness in this incident. Once Mr [WITNESS #1] agreed and his information was obtained I looked over in Mr Brownholtz direction and noticed brown stains on the back of his khaki shorts. While placing Mr Brownholtz into handcuffs there was an overwhelming smell consistent with someone who would have had bowel movement emitting from his person.

Handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked prior to transport. While Mr Brownholtz was walking to the rear seat of my patrol car I could see feces on the back of one of his legs. Mr Brownholtz was transported to the Floyd County Jail without incident, where he was booked in for public drunk and public indecency, nothing further to report at this time.
