[NARRATIVE #1 on February 05, 2026]

On the date and time lsited above I, PFC. J. BODENHEIMER, was dispatched to the above address in reference to a domestic altercation that ahd gotten physical but the male, BRANDON HUNTER, had already left. Upon arrival I met with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2], [VICTIM #1] and BRANDON’S son. [VICTIM #1] was visibly upset, crying and shaking, and she began to tell me what had happened.

[VICTIM #1] stated that her and BRANDON had gotten into an argument because she had messaged another man and this set BRANDON off. [VICTIM #1] said that BRANDON began yelling at her and when she took out her phone to call 911 BRANDON immediately took it away from her, hindering her from calling 911. [VICTIM #1] said that she tried leaving the house by going out the back door and when she opened the back door BRANDON slammed it back shut and then grabbed her face and covered her mouth so that she could not scream.

[VICTIM #1] stated that they then went down to the ground and that BRANDON was holding her down into the dog food bowl and was just yelling at her. While going to the ground [VICTIM #1] was scratched on her Right Arm near the elbow and I was able to see a red scratch that appeared to be from a finger nail.

[VICTIM #1] said that she was able to get away from BRANDON and went upstairs to get her smart watch to call 911 from it. [VICTIM #1] said that BRANDON then took the smart watch from her and canceled the 911 call. [VICTIM #1] stated that they both went back downstairs and she tried to leave the house, from the front door this time, but BRANDON kept shoving her into the stairs preventing her from leaving and causing her to get a cut on her heel.

[VICTIM #1] suffered a cut on the back of her heel and it had dried blood on it. During the altercation a doggy door valued at $50.00 had gotten broken and also [VICTIM #2], who is four years old, watched the entire fight.

BRANDON then grabbed his satchel, which contains a pistol, and went to leave. [VICTIM #1] was scared that BRANDON would try to hurt himself and they began fighting over the satchel. BRANDON was able to get the satchel and left the residence through the garage door and got into his truck to leave.

[VICTIM #1] said that she was worried that Police would shoot him if he had a gun on him so she stood in front of his truck to try and keep him at the house. [VICTIM #1] said that BRANDON put the truck in drive and eased forward pushing her into the road. [VICTIM #1] said that once she got into the road she got out from in front of the truck and went back inside the residence.

Based on the charges I would have, I then left the residence and went to the Police Station to begin typing a warrant. While at the station CPT. BOHANNON was able to locate BRANDON HUNTER’s truck that was driven by BRANDON. BRANDON was taken into to custody and transported to the Floyd County Jail where he was medically cleared and taken into custody by Jail staff.

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 05, 2026]

On the above date and time I, Cpl Wishart and Ofc Foster arrived at [70 BLOCK] McGrady Rd in reference to a domestic call.

While on scene I spoke with [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #2] stated that he saw his dad (Brandon Hunter) yelling at his mom ([VICTIM #1]) and during the yelling Brandon pushed [VICTIM #1] down on the stairs causing a cut on the back of her foot. I asked [VICTIM #2] if this made him afraid. [VICTIM #2] stated that it did. [VICTIM #2] also advised that Brandon began banging his head on the front door and this made [VICTIM #2] scared as well.

[NARRATIVE #3 on February 06, 2026]

On the morning of February 6, 2026 at around 0005 FCPD officers were dispatched to [70 BLOCK] McGrady road in reference to a domestic call between [VICTIM #1] and Brandon Hunter. The initial reports were that Brandon had made physical contact with [VICTIM #1] resulting in criminal charges. Brandon had left the residence in a white 2024 Chevrolet truck [REDACTED]. It was later determined that the truck was in the area of Big Texas valley road. I along with several other officers responded to the area in an attempt to locate Brandon.

While in the area at 0048 I in fact found the truck traveling toward Huffaker road on Big Texas valley passing Friday road. I radioed the location of the truck and advised the dispatcher I would stop the truck at the intersection of Big Texas and Huffaker road.

Earlier reports were that Brandon has made threats of suicide in the past and when he left the house on McGrady he was armed with a firearm. Given the gravity of the situation I was being cautious due to the sometimes volatile responses of persons already in crisis. I signaled Brandon to stop with the blue light on the patrol car, Brandon stopped on the shoulder of the roadway. Being concerned for my safety knowing brandon was armed I drew my duty pistol to have it ready and the pistol was exhibited.

I gave Brandon orders to turn the truck off and drop the keys out the window. Brandon did what I asked. I further gave directions for Brandon to put both hands out the window and again Brandon complied. He was instructed to keep his hands out the window and he did as told. I asked where his firearms was and he replied in the seat next to him, I again said do not reach for anything.

Brandon kept his hands out the window and I opened his truck door, as Brandon stepped out he failed to immediately turn and place his hands on top of the truck as I had instructed, I did use a slight amount of contact to redirect and turn him enough to place his hands in the position I had instructed. Brandon complied with further instruction and was placed in handcuffs without incident. The cuffs were placed behind his back checked for proper fit and double locked.

Sergeant Wade arrived on the scene to assist and advised Brandon of his Miranda rights prior to questioning him about the domestic incident. Brandon admitted that he had gotten physical with [VICTIM #1] nd had physically prevented her from leaving the residence, he also admitted that he had interfered with an attempt by [VICTIM #1] to contact 911 for assistance. Sergeant Wade took custody of Brandon for transport to the jail with family violence charges pending. Brandon’s Truck was towed from the scene by Binkley’s Towing.

The in car camera in unit 09 was recording the traffic stop and arrest all actions are visible on the car video, however for some unknown reason My BWC failed to activate when I pressed the switch, it was however activated immediately after I realized it had failed on the first attempt.

[NARRATIVE #4 on February 06, 2026]

On the above date and time I was assisting Pfc. Bodenheimer in locating Brandon Hunter who had left a domestic altercation that occurred at [70 BLOCK] McGrady Road. Pfc. Bodenheimer advised me that he would have charges on Brandon after conducting his investigation into the domestic altercation.

Captain. Bohannon had located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Big Texas Valley Road at Huffaker Road. Upon arriving to the location where Captain Bohannon had stopped the vehicle I advised Brandon of his Miranda Rights to which he stated that he understood them and wished to speak with me.

I asked Brandon to explain what had occurred tonight, Brandon stated that several nights ago he went through [VICTIM #1]’s phone and found out that she had been talking to another guy. Brandon stated that they worked that out but that [VICTIM #1] was acting weird today which led to him going through her cellphone again tonight. Brandon stated that is when he dicscovered that [VICTIM #1] had been sending another guy “teaser” photos and he lost his “cool” but he immediately stated “I did not hit her, I accidentally pushed her down”.

I asked Brandon how he accidentally pushed her down. Brandon stated that during the argument he was asking her to take their son upstairs and that he would leave but when she found out he was leaving with guns she kept screaming and as he was trying to leave with the guns she wouldn’t let him and he knocked her down at the stairs. I asked Brandon if he left after that and he stated that he “stormed” around the house trying to figure out why she was doing that. Brandon went on to say that he was upset because the guy [VICTIM #1] was talking to was a guy he served in the military with and had served in Afghanistan with.

Brandon went on to say that [VICTIM #1] tried to leave and he would not let her leave because he did not want her to leave because he wanted to leave. I asked Brandon how he prevented [VICTIM #1] from leaving and he stated that he stood in front of the door and pushed her away from the door. I asked Brandon if at any point [VICTIM #1] tried to call E-911 using SIRI and he canceled the call.

Brandon was arrested and transported to the Floyd County Jail where Pfc. Bodenheimer awaited to fill out charges on Brandon.
