[NARRATIVE #1 on November 22, 2025]
On 11/22/25 at 05:18 Hrs. I Officer Valentine was dispatched to a call for service regarding a domestic dispute to the Circle K located on 910 N. Broad.
Upon my arrival [VICTIM #1] was speaking with two Floyd County officers regarding what took place in the county earlier that day with Brandon Waddell and [VICTIM #1]. See Floyd County Report for their findings.
I spoke with [VICTIM #1] at the Circle K and she explained to me that her and Brandon were in the parking lot of the Days Inn and they got into a verbal argument and things got heated. She explained he head-butted her in the face causing her to bleed from her nose that was previously cut by Brandon.
[VICTIM #1] and I got into the patrol vehicle and drove to the Days Inn. When we arrived at the Days Inn, Brandon was already in custody and a search incident to arrest was conducted and the vehicle was searched.
The silver Kia belonged to her cousin [REDACTED], inside were prescription bottles in [REDACTED]’s name and a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey. I spoke with [VICTIM #1] again and she gave an exact account of where the incident took place. She confirmed the head-butt took place in the parking lot of the Days Inn closest to the Hampton Inn and Suites.
I spoke with Brandon and read him miranda before any questioning. Brandon stated he did nothing wrong. Everything was made up because him and his brother were arguing about him sleeping with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] denied those claims stating there has always been something between them, and that they hooked up over ten years ago. Brandon stated the opposite, he claimed that was the entire reason they were in Rome, and the plan was to get a room so they could sleep together.
Brandon continued to claim he did not hit [VICTIM #1], and he leaned forward to ask what he was being charged with. I told him he was being charged with battery, and he began to ask about the charges the county had for him. I told him that I wasn’t aware with what the county officers were going to charge him with, I was more concerned about what took place at the Days Inn. While Brandon was leaning forward there was what appeared to be dried blood from when he supposedly head-butted [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] had a cut on her nose from the incident in the county, and that would explain the possible blood on his forehead.
Brandon went on to explain he took shots of whiskey in anticipation of events that were going to take place, stating he was feeling good. Brandon continued to claim nothing happened and that he was innocent. Brandon was arrested and charged with battery FVA (Family Violence) due to Brandon taking residency at [VICTIM #1]’s home after being released from prison. Photos of [VICTIM #1] with her injuries were taken and uploaded into the report, along with photos of the suspected dried blood on Brandon’s forehead.

[NARRATIVE #2 on November 22, 2025]
This is a supplemental report to Officer Valentine initial report.
On November 22, 2025, at approximately 0526 hours, Officer White and I arrived at 840 Turner McCall Blvd, Days Inn, Rome GA in regards to locating a Brandon Waddell who was believed to be in a silver Kia Optima in the parking lot. While in route dispatch advised to use caution because he may have a knife or gun on him and that Polk County and Floyd County Police do have charges on him and to place him under arrest if located. As we arrived we located a silver Kia Optima with one occupant.
Officer Rains arrived as officers were giving verbal commands to exit the vehicle at gun point. Brandon Waddell exited the vehicle and complied with our commands. He was taken into custody without incident. Waddell was placed in handcuffs to the rear, checked for tightness, double locked and searched. Once I completed the search of Waddell he was placed in the rear seat of my patrol car. A search of the vehicle located an open bottle of alcoholic beverage.
Officer Valentine arrived on scene and took over the investigation.
I contacted the registered owner of the vehicle by phone and she requested it be released to [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] arrived on scene with Officer Valentine, and the vehicle was released to her.
Brandon Waddell was transported to the Floyd County Jail where he was booked for Battery FVA.

[NARRATIVE #3 on November 22, 2025]
This is a supplemental report to Officer Valentine’s initial report.
At approximately 0520 hours on Saturday November 22, 2025, Dispatch advised that a female had come in to 910 N Broad Street (Circle K) with an injury to her nose. They advised that a male named Brandon Wadell was in a silver Kia Optima in the parking lot of the Days Inn, 840 Turner Mccall Blvd. Dispatch advised that the vehicle was parked at the front near the Steak and Shake side.
Officer Gravell and I went to the Days Inn to see if we could locate the vehicle. As we were arriving in the area of the Days Inn, dispatch advised us that Floyd County Officers were looking for Mr. Wadell and for us to use caution if we locate him as he may have a knife. Dispatch advised that both Floyd County and Polk County would have charges pending for Mr. Wadell.
While checking the parking lot, I located a silver Kia Optima bearing Ga registration #[REDACTED] at the front of the building next to Turner Mccall Blvd. The vehicle had one occupant, a white male, in the front passenger seat. I advised Officer Gravell and Dispatch I found the vehicle and Officer Gravell made his way to me. Once he got to my location, he placed his spot light on the vehicle and the male opened the passenger door.
We both drew our service weapons and I gave the male verbal commands to show his hands, exit the vehicle, turn around facing away from us and to walk back wards until told to stop. Once he was close enough I told him to stop and Officer Gravell approached him while I covered and placed him in handcuffs. See Officer Gravell’s supplemental report for more details.
Once Officer Gravell had him in handcuffs, I approached the vehicle and cleared it to ensure no one else was inside of it. While doing this, I observed an open container of alcohol in the front passenger side floor board where Mr. Wadell was sitting. Once Officer Gravell had Mr. Wadell in the rear passenger side of his patrol vehicle and Officer Valentine arrived on scene, I went back in service.
