On the date and times listed I OFC World was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Atkins Dr in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival I spoke with complainant [VICTIM #1] the wife of Chadwick Clark the suspect. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. Clark had just left 5 minutes prior to my arrival in a blue Chevy truck.

Mrs. [VICTIM #1] visibly upset advised me of the situation that occurred. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that both her and Mr. Clark were inside of the Mobile Home in the back yard. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised she attempted to take Mr. Clarks cellphone and he began to become irate. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised Mr. Clark grabbed her by the throat with one hand and restricted her airways to the extent she faded out of consciousness. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised Mr. Clark threw her against the walls in the mobile home and the altercation placed her in fear of her life. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that as soon as she was able to breathe, she grabbed her cellphone and contacted 911.

It’s to be noted there was visibly red markings/bruising around Mrs. [VICTIM #1]s neck and she had a busted lip Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised she would send photos to my email but has not yet at this time.

I then advised Mrs. [VICTIM #1] of her rights as a victim and gave her a victim’s rights brochure.

Later that day February 15, 2025, I OFC World received a call in reference to the altercation that occurred on [100 BLOCK] Atkins Dr. Dispatch advised they were receiving a call advising Mr. Clark had returned to the residence. Upon arrival I was met by a Male and Female staying in the residence at [100 BLOCK] Atkins Dr they advised they are renting from the Clarks. They advised that Mr. Clark was back at the residence and he was in the backyard. I OFC World then went into the back yard where I saw the Blue Chevy truck described from the previous time out. I then attempted to make contact with Mr. Clark. I knocked on the mobile home door multiple times with no response. The couple renting advised they were certain he was home. Assisting Officers then began to knock on the shed in the backyard. I OFC World and the other Officers heard movement and banging in the shed along with the door being shut and locked from the inside. I then asked the couple renting who was now on the phone with Mrs. [VICTIM #1] if they knew who might be in the shed. Both parties advised it would be Mr. Clark. I attempted multiple timed to get Mr. Clark to exit the shed and speak with me in regards to the altercation that occurred earlier today February 15, 2025.

I then went to the station and completed the arrest warrant along with a search warrant due to him not wanting to exit the building. I then had the warrants signed by a judge and returned to [100 BLOCK] Atkins Dr. The SWAT team then extracted Mr. Clark from shed and he was placed under arrest and I informed him of his rights. Mr. Clark then advised he was sleeping and had headphones on and was unaware that we were attempting to make contact. Mr. Clark acknowledge and advised he did get into an altercation with Mrs. [VICTIM #1] were he grabbed her by the throat.

I then transported Mr. Clark to Atrium Health Hospital were he was cleared. I then transported Mr. Clark to the Floyd County Jail where he was booked.
