[NARRATIVE #1 on April 19, 2026]
On above date and time I PFC Bray was dispatched to [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Deanview Drive in reference to a domestic altercation.
Upon arrival Officers meet with Complainant [VICTIM #1] at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Deanview Drive who stated her child’s father (Guztavo Guzman) had broke into the back door of the residences. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo was drunk and talking crazy and telling her if she moved out the rocking chair she was in he would kill her. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo was threatening her for money she had used for a trip. [VICTIM #1] stated while she was sitting in the car with her son [VICTIM #2], Guztavo had a kitchen knife to her head.
[VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo did not add any damage to the residences, however he did throw her tv and other stuff over, but had put everything back like it was. [VICTIM #1] stated at one point Guztavo had told her to go the bedroom because he said he was going to zip-tie her. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo might have her wallet and phone with him. [VICTIM #1] stated she was sitting in the rocking chair with her son for about two hours listening to Guztavo threatening her while holding a knife to her head.
[VICTIM #1] stated when Gutztavo first came in he was super drunk and had calm down later on and keep changing moods from them being cool to not being cool and it scared her. [VICTIM #1] stated she told Guztavo that she was not going to call the cops on him and that she will give him the money and he could take however much he wants and Guztavo told her he did not want the money. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo was trying to record her and telling her to give up custody of her son and admit to him that she wont take him to court. [VICTIM #1] stated she don’t think Guztavo was really recording her and just had the flash on her.
[VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo told her that he had a gun on him however, when she was on the floor at the back door trying to get out, she had felt his pockets and did not feel a gun. [VICTIM #1] stated once Guztavo had turned around and took his eyes off of her she was able to run out the house while naked and across the street to the neighbors house to call 911. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo told her that he was going to leave and she was going to sit in the chair and stay back. [VICTIM #1] also stated Guztavo told her he had guys out waiting and if she moved he was going to kill her. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo told her he also had people from the Sheriffs Office waiting outside and he is there to get his money.
[VICTIM #1] stated she can only assume Guztavo had parked his car at the Dollar General down the road, because his car is loud and she could hear it if he pulled up. [VICTIM #1] stated her neighbors at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Deanview Drive had seen a car parked at the Dollar General Parking Lot and seen Guztavo walking back to the car. [VICTIM #1] stated Guztavo was supposed to be moving in with his aunt at [500 BLOCK] Gentry Road. [VICTIM #1] stated she was talking to Guztavo Aunt earlier today and she advised her that she has not seen Guztavo. [VICTIM #1] stated her and Guztavo live together and he just recently started moving out today. [VICTIM #1] stated her and Guztavo had been broken up since January and she asked him to move out today.
Officer went to [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Deanview Drive to clear the residence and Guztavo was not located inside. I observed the back porch camera to be plugged up in a wall outlet near to back door. I did not observed any signs of forced entry on either the front nor back door of the residences.
No visible marking or bruising was observed on [VICTIM #1] and she was advised about TPO and Eviction Process through the Courts. [VICTIM #1] stated she would be able to show Officers video of the incident if she had her phone but she did not have her phone at the time. [VICTIM #1] was advised a report would be made and without any video showing what happen or another 3rd party witness who seen what happen, I would not be able to arrest Guztavo for it at this time.
Around 0245 hours a 911 call came in from [VICTIM #1] dad stating Guztavo is at a gas station nearby and has now return back to [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Deanview Drive. Officer went and spoke with Guztavo who stated he was invited to come see his son by [VICTIM #1] and that is why he is there. Guztavo stated he is in the process of moving out. Guztavo stated he had prove that he was invited over here by [VICTIM #1]. Guztavo showed me a video with [VICTIM #1] sitting in a chair with their son crying while he was asking her why she was logging into his snapchat. [VICTIM #1] stated you are scaring me and Guztavo had walked back away from her. [VICTIM #1] than said I wont do it again and I’ll do whatever you want.
Guztavo than tell her you gave me permission to be here to see mu son and I’m here now and you acting like this. [VICTIM #1] later stated in the video that I wanted you to come over so I can give you the money and I wanted to apologize. Guztavo stated he was not there earlier when police was there because he was scared that police would just barge in on him for [VICTIM #1] saying he was beaten on her. Guztavo was asked if at any point did he have a knife and held it to [VICTIM #1] tonight and he stated no. Guztavo was asked did he break into the back door, he stated no and stated he was invented over and has a house key. [VICTIM #1] went and got some belongings along with her phone and stated she was unable to find her keys and wallet still.

[NARRATIVE #2 on April 19, 2026]
On 4/19/2026, I (Officer Calcutt) responded to [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Lake Park Drive in reference to a domestic incident that occurred the previous night at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Dean View Drive. The complainant/victim, [VICTIM #1], advised that she was able to recover her cell phone with evidence of the domestic. I met with her at her father’s residence.
I informed [VICTIM #1] that I was not the responding officer the previous night and asked her to tell me what had occurred. [VICTIM #1] advised that she had recently broken up with the father of her child, Gustavo Guzman-Ambriz. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo had recently moved out of their residence at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Dean View Drive. [VICTIM #1] advised that Gustavo forced his way into the residence through the back door at 0047 hours.
[VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo was extremely intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo was upset due to him having to move out of the residence, so he began cursing and yelling at her. [VICTIM #1] stated that she attempted to leave the residence. However, Gustavo would not allow her to. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was holding her son ([VICTIM #2] 1 year and 10 months old) who had been asleep in her arms in a rocking chair in the corner of the living room.
[VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo physically restrained her and kept her from leaving. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo even sat on top of her and their son. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo began threatening to kill her and was holding some sort of glass bottle to her forehead. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo then walked to the kitchen and retrieved a kitchen knife with a gray handle and silver blade. [VICTIM #1] recognized the knife as one she had placed in the dishwasher earlier.
[VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo slowly ran the blade of the knife from the left side of her head, down her cheek, all the way to her neck. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was begging him to stop and was in fear for her life. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo continued to threaten to kill her. [VICTIM #1] stated that the whole ordeal took place over the course of an hour. [VICTIM #1] stated that Gustavo turned away from her and she ran with her child out of the residence to a neighbor’s house. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was able to get someone to call 911 at this time.
[VICTIM #1] advised that she later received an escort back to the residence after Gustavo had left. [VICTIM #1] stated $109.00 in small denominations was missing out of her wallet. [VICTIM #1] stated that her car key for her 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt was also missing. [VICTIM #1] stated she has been staying at her father’s residence because she is too scared to return.
[VICTIM #1] showed me a short iPhone video of the domestic dispute. The video shows the following:
-[VICTIM #1] and her son in the rocking chair.
-Gustavo sitting on them and then standing over them.
-Gustavo slurring his speech while cursing at [VICTIM #1].
-Gustavo realizes that [VICTIM #1] is attempting to record a video.
-Gustavo hits the phone out of [VICTIM #1]’s hand, causing it to fall to the ground.
-Gustavo picks the phone up and manipulates it so it will stop recording.
[VICTIM #1] also showed me doorbell camera footage. In that footage, [VICTIM #1] is heard screaming, “Please stop!” I also heard [VICTIM #1] crying and asking Gustavo “What are you doing?” [VICTIM #1] stated this audio was from the portion of the domestic where she was restrained in the chair and Gustavo had the knife. Gustavo is heard cursing at her and yelling at her.
It is difficult to understand what Gustavo said int he audio due to his speech being severely slurred. [VICTIM #1] showed me the time that Gustavo cut the security cameras off in an apparent attempt to keep [VICTIM #1] from retrieving the video.
[VICTIM #1] advised she reported these things to the responding officers. [VICTIM #1] advised that she was unable to show them the videos due to her fleeing the residence without her cell phone.
This incident falls under the Georgia Family Violence Act.
Warrants have been typed for Gustavo Guzman-Ambriz.
