On 10/29/25 at 19:10 hrs. I Officer Valentine and PFC Young were dispatched to a call regarding someone being chased by a car.

[VICTIM #1] was on the phone with dispatch giving live updates as things were happening. She mentioned Hannah was attempting to run her off the road multiple times and merging into oncoming traffic and chasing her at a high rate of speed. At roughly 19:19 hrs [VICTIM #1] told dispatch the driver Hannah Craig hit her vehicle while in motion. Myself and PFC Young were approaching N. Broad from Veterans Memorial Hwy. We saw the two vehicles turn into the Floyd County Jail parking lot and circle around one time before PFC Young and I cut them off.

We both exited the vehicle and I immediately detained Hannah Craig with handcuffs placing her in the back of the patrol car (#190). While I was detaining Hannah she was screaming at [VICTIM #2] asking,”Why?” At that moment there was no talking to Hannah. She was in such an emotional state she couldn’t stop crying and even stated she couldn’t breath.

There was a witness to the aggressive driving; a Mr. [WITNESS #1]. I interviewed [WITNESS #1] and he stated he saw Hannah driving a gray Honda Accord in a very aggressive manner. [WITNESS #1] stated Hannah was driving in the opposite lane of travel without regard for other drivers.

I then spoke with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated she had no idea what was going on. She was wondering why Hannah would do this and just didn’t have an explanation or reason on why Hannah would do this. There was damage done to [VICTIM #1]’s Honda Civic. She stated Hannah rammed her car while they were both traveling at a high rate of speed. [VICTIM #1] was attempting to flee because she was afraid that Hannah would cause her to have a car accident or worse.

I spoke with [VICTIM #2] and he did not want to cooperate with the investigation. He made a statement to me that he doesn’t like to talk with the police. He mentioned that she can’t hold him hostage in their relationship, and he has moved on. He continued making comments stating his relationship with Hannah is over. Both [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] received victim notification pamphlets, [VICTIM #2] declined notification but [VICTIM #1] marked she wanted to be notified.

Hannah was notified she was being placed under arrest, she was crying and inconsolable. We notified dispatch we were going to transport her to Floyd Medical to be medically cleared. While inside the hospital she continued to cry and the nurses were attempting to calm her down. This proceeded for a significant amount of time. PFC Young decided to watch Hannah while I got started on paperwork.

After the hospital medically cleared Hannah, PFC Young escorted her to the patrol vehicle. She was in a much calmer state, so I read her Miranda and asked her if she would answer my questions pertaining to the case. She gave verbal consent, and I asker her about what took place and about the license plate on her car. She stated [VICTIM #1] has slept her babies father and is now messing around with [VICTIM #2], who she believes to be her current boyfriend. She also admitted to knowingly driving her vehicle with no insurance or proper registration.

Upon further investigation we discovered the tag belonged to another vehicle registered to a business called Trees Unlimited. The tag was taken off the vehicle and submitted to the temporary evidence locker at the Rome Police Department for safe keeping. Sunrise towing took possession of the vehicle and towed it back to their lot.

Hannah was then transported to Floyd County Jail where she was booked without any issues.
