On Tuesday March 3, 2026 at approximately 8:56pm I, PFC Z Colvin, was dispatched to [20 BLOCK] Tamassee Ln Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival I made contact with Kierra Farmer outside. She stated she was having problems with her 14 year old son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He had been skipping school, being disrespectful, and sometimes aggressive. She stated she called because he bucked up on her. She was vague about exactly what he had done. At one point she said they “tussled”, and another point she said it was not physical.
I then went inside to speak with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He was inside with his grandmother, [WITNESS #1], and his 5 year old brother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. As I began to talk to him he told me his mother, Kierra, pulled a knife out on him. I then spoke to him in detail. He stated his mother attacked him in his room and was trying to take away his television because he was being disrespectful. She then attacked him and he defended himself by pushing her up against a wall.
He then stated she left his room and went to the kitchen where she got a knife. She then went back after him and he backed up into his grandmother’s room at the end of the hallway. He stated she came at him in an offensive manner and his grandmother tried to get between them.
I then spoke with the grandmother, [WITNESS #1]. She stated she did not witness the first part of the altercation since they were in another room. However, she did say she observed her daughter, Kierra, go to the kitchen while no one was near her and she got a knife. She then went after [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in an aggressive manner with the knife and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ended up backing up into his grandmother’s room where she yelled them to stop.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is [REDACTED]’s 5 year old brother also witnessed the events that took place. He confirmed the story that both [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [WITNESS #1] stated.
I then went back outside and spoke with Kierra. I asked her about the knife and she stated she never grabbed a knife. She did go into a little more detail about the altercation with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She did say she had tried to unplug his television when he got disrespectful and he had tried to pull her arm away.
I then spoke with Kierra’s daughters [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is 10 and her 6 year old sister. They both stated they saw the first part of the altercation, but were outside in the car during the second half and never saw a knife.
Due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [WITNESS #1] all having corroborating statements, I placed Kierra under arrest. She was transported to the Floyd County Jail where she was booked in for FVA Aggravated Assault, FVA Cruelty to Children in the First Degree, and Cruelty to Children to Children in the Third Degree.
