[NARRATIVE #1 on February 11, 2026]

At or around the hours of 1300hrs I met with [VICTIM #1] in regards to domestic incident. She stated that her husband “Landon” was holding her and her children against their will while he recklessly drove them around town. The behavior that he was demonstrating to her was terrifying and was traumatizing to her and the children. She stated that when they made it to the house her 4 year old stated that “daddy scared her”.

During the conversation it was brought up that he had a recent medication change, was now being treated for bipolar disorder. The displayed behavior was like shed never seen from him before. I explained the charges and the court process for now and then future, she stated that she just wanted him to get help that he needed. The behavior was seemingly out of the ordinary for him to be so irrational and due to the excessive drinking she think that it may have been a contributing factor. After she was given a victim bill of rights and filled out her witness statement form, her husband was transported to the hospital in response to getting tased.

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 11, 2026]

I (Sgt. Charles Miller) responded to incident location along with other officers due to a DUI/Reckless endangerment call.

Upon arrival I activated the blue lights to the CID van, and exited the vehicle wearing my CID uniform with a jacket having a Floyd County PD patch on each arm, and an embroidered badge on the left chest. Officer Chad Matthews along with at least one Sheriff Deputy was to the drivers side of the CID van, while I was to the Passenger Side. Office Matthews called for Mr. Littlejohn to come out of the workshop. When he came out of the workshop, Mr. Littlejohn was cursing, using aggressive language, and showed signs of intoxication. He further stated that he did have a knife on him.

Mr. Littlejohn continued to be aggressive, and refused to follow commands such as to keep his hands out of his pockets, not to reach behind himself or to get on the ground. At one point he stated that We (the police) were going to have to kill him. I took up position behind a tree with my firearm at the low ready. I could see that Officer Matthews, and the Deputy also had their firearms deployed.

After a couple of minutes Mr. Littlejohn went back into his shop. I then moved up to the corner of the garage as this is where the Complainant/Victim was reported to be. As I got to the Corner Mr. Littlejohn came back out of the shop, and began to approach me in an aggressive manner as described above. he did not have any items in his hands. I was aware that at least one other officer had less lethal at the ready, so I holstered my firearm as the distance closed between and Mr. Littlejohn and myself, and prepared to go hands on.

At this point I saw a red laser sight on Mr. Littlejohn quickly followed by a taser deployment by Officer Joshua Jenkins. Suspect slowly fell to the ground ending up on his back. I, along with other officers moved to turn him onto his stomach, I grabbed his right wrist, and attempted to get his right hand behind his back. Mr. Littlejohn resisted this for a short while before his hand were cuffed befind his back.

Mr. Littlejohn was patted down by another officer, and after all items were removed from his pockets he was rolled over, and assisted to a sitting position. I checked the taser probes, and found one to have struck Mr. Littlejohn in the stomach, and the other struck him just above his belt line. The probes were removed by another officer without any issues. Mr. Littlejohn declined any further medical assistance.

[NARRATIVE #3 on February 11, 2026]

On 2-11-26 I Pfc Jenkins responded to the area of [700 BLOCK] Compton rd. in regards to a Domestic altercation that was happening on the roadway and traveling toward this address.

While in route other officers arrived at the address and advised that the suspect MATTHEW LITTLEJOHN was refusing verbal commands and stated he had a knife. Officers also advised that MATTHEW stated we (police) would have to shoot him.

Upon my arrival I took a position behind the officers already on scene. MATTHEW continued yelling and refusing officers commands then returned to the shop behind the house and shut the door. I spoke with SO Deputy Lord and we made a plan to take a position behind the residence. While walking to the rear MATTHEW came out of the shop yelling again and began to walk aggressively toward Sgt Miller. I holstered my duty weapon and retrieved my department issued taser (X00759625).

MATTHEW pulled his shirt up toward his head and I took this as an opportunity to use lethal force. I pointed the my taser at MATTHEW and deployed it striking MATTHEW with 1 probe to the stomach and 1 probe to the belt line. MATTHEW fell to the ground due to the effects of the taser. MATTHEW continued to resist when myself and other officers attempted to put him in handcuffs. Once MATTHEW was in handcuffs he was searched and a knife was found in his back pocket by SO NOLES.

Once we had MATTHEW sat up I was able to remove the taser probes from him. MATTHEW refused any further medical attention. I escorted MATTHEW to my patrol vehicle and read miranda and MATTHEW agreed to talk to me. I could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from MATTHEW as he spoke also MATTHEW was slurring his words. MATTHEW did not know why we was there or what was happening. I attempted to explain to MATTHEW what was going on but he continued to state he didn’t do anything wrong. I removed MATTHEW from my patrol vehicle and gave custody of him to Pfc Mathews. I assisted investigators in gathering information.

[NARRATIVE #4 on February 11, 2026]

On listed time and date I was given a bolo of a black Ford F150 and that the listed victim/complainant [VICTIM #1] was calling and asking for help because she and her two minor children were in the vehicle with the suspect (victims husband) Landon Littlejohn. [VICTIM #1] stated to 911 that her husband was angry and possible intoxicated and that he was driving very fast on back roads and at one time struck a mailbox. 911 advised that [VICTIM #1] had asked the offender several times to stop the vehicle and let her and the children out of the vehicle but he refused and continued to drive at high speeds and not showing regard to their safety.

Myself and Officer J Jenkins were responding code 1 to attempt to stop the suspect but was not able to catch up to it due to the wet rainy roadway and the fact that the offender continued to make turn after turn from one road to another. 911 advised that the vehicle was headed to the listed address of [700 BLOCK] Compton Road which is the home address of the suspect and complainant.

Before officers could catch up to the suspect vehicle the suspect arrived back at the address. 911 advised that the complainant had jumped out of the truck and ran into a workshop while the complainant and her kids stayed in the truck with the door locked. We were also advised that the suspect did have weapons (guns) in the the residence.

Myself and two Floyd County Sheriff Deputies Lord and Noles arrived a short time after the suspect had ran into the workshop and once there I called out to the suspect to come out and talk to us while at the same time identifying myself as Floyd County Police. At that time the offender came out of the workshop and was very angry I pulled my sidearm and held the suspect at gunpoint while giving him verbal commands to place his hands where we could see them. At one time the suspect did place his hands in the air but then continued to put his hands in his pockets and in his jacket.

The suspect became more angry and irate telling us this was his house and his yard. We explained to the suspect we had to check the welfare of the children and his wife but still the suspect continued to refuse verbal commands. The suspect went back into the workshop refusing to follow commands or talk to us. The suspect then aggressively came back out of the workshop and advanced Sgt Charles Miller with a fast pace and aggressive manner giving Officer Joshua Jenkins no choice but to deploy his taser firing one cartridge at the suspect striking him belly and belt line at which time the suspect was placed in cuffs.

After the suspect was secure I spoke to the complainant/victim [VICTIM #1] who stated that her husband has a drinking problem and possible mental health issues. [VICTIM #1] stated that earlier she and the suspect were getting ready to take their daughter to a Doctors appointment and before they left the house she suspected that the suspect could have been drinking or possibly taken some meds that he had been recently prescribed by his doctor for bi polar disorder but she wasnt sure.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she never saw her husband consume alcohol or take medication or even smelled it on his person but she did suspect it and told the offender that she would drive. [VICTIM #1] stated that when she asked if he had been drinking and offered to drive he became somewhat angry and insisted he was fine and that he would drive. [VICTIM #1] stated that once they were on the road the offender started driving at high speeds and acting crazy and at one time he struck a mailbox on Harmony Road but continued to drive.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she asked the suspect several times to stop the vehicle but he would not stop. [VICTIM #1] stated that the suspect was yelling and arguing with her and this caused her daughter to be very upset and scared. I transported the offender to the Floyd Medical Center for medical clearance before transporting him to the Floyd County Jail on listed charges.

[NARRATIVE #5 on February 11, 2026]

On the above date and time, while in the area of Highway 411 and Ga 1 Loop, Deputy Lord and I overheard Officer Matthews (FCPD) heading to a Domestic altercation/ DUI happening in a moving vehicle. Deputy Lord and I began to start toward the direction of the vehicle. E-911 was giving us updates on the situation while in route to the address ([700 BLOCK] Compton Rd).

At one point in time E-911 told us over the radio that the driver (Landon Littlejohn) was refusing to let the wife and kids get out of the vehicle and that he also took the phone away from the complainant and hung up with E-911. Shortly after E-911 made contact with the complainant again E-911 advised Deputies and Officers that they had pulled into the residence and that he (Landon Littlejohn) went to the shop behind the house.

Captain Acker was monitoring the radio and advised me to run code to assist the closest County Unit with the call. When Deputy Lord, Officer Matthews and I arrived at the [700 BLOCK] Compton Rd around 1248 hours. The first thing I noticed was tire marks in the gravel of the driveway, it appeared someone turned into the driveway at a high rate of speed indicating irritation and a lack of motor skills (common in DUI’s).

Once Officers and Deputies had cover behind a white van, Officer Matthews gave loud commands for Landon to exit the building and to come talk with us. Landon then exited and looked extremely agitated with our presence (due to the nature of the call and the unknown of weapons Deputies and Officers had Landon at gun point). Landon was asked to show us his hands which he complied with for a short period of time. Landon continued to drop his hands down and when asked if he had any weapons he looked down as if he was unsure if he had any. He then reached to his back right pocket stating that he did have a knife.

Officers and Deputies yelled and told him not to reach for anything multiple times. Ignoring commands several times Landon continued to put his hand in his pockets. Landon then retreated back into the building, I took this moment to run to my patrol car and retrieve my issued rifle. While I was returning to the scene, Landon again exited the building and started walking in an aggressive manner in the direction of Deputies and Officers.

Officer Jenkins then deployed his taser, striking Landon in the upper torso. The taser made solid contact and subdued Landon. Landon was then placed in handcuffs and searched for weapons. A knife was found in his right back pocket. He was then placed in the back of a patrol car. EMS arrived shortly after to examine Landon but he refused EMS care.
