On 02-06-25 at approximately 0236 hours I was dispatched to 2209 Shorter Ave in reference to a physical domestic altercation between [VICTIM #1] and Stephen Ingram. Dispatch advised that Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised them that Stephen had physically assaulted her, took her cell phone, took her 2004 silver Chevrolet Trailblazer (no license plate), and left the scene.
Upon arrival, I made contact with Ms. [VICTIM #1]. She advised that her and Mr. Ingram were playing Uno and drinking wine. She advised that he was coming down from meth use and his attitude changed completely. She advised that they began arguing about Snapchat and his drug use when he became irate. She advised that Mr. Ingram began yelling and calling her an “alcoholic” and a “wh*re”. She advised that he then approached her as she was sitting in the chair and grabbed her by the face while calling her those names. She advised that she told him to get out of her face and then he pushed her out of the chair which caused a visible cut to her left leg and stated “bi*ch you’re going to die”. She advised that he then got on top of her and placed his hands around her throat and began choking her. She advised at this point she had been screaming so people were banging on the doors trying to help. She advised that Mr. Ingram then got up and began apologizing and asked for her to forgive him. She advised that she told him that she was done with him so he disconnected the land-line phone in the hotel room, took her Walmart prepaid phone ($39), and her vehicle keys and left the room. She advised that Mr. Ingram then took her Trailblazer and left the scene while knowingly driving on a suspended drivers license. I then checked the returns for Mr. Ingram and discovered that is drivers license was in fact suspended on several occasions and was currently suspended.
Officers were able to locate Mr. Ingram shortly after the incident at his mother’s residence, [10 BLOCK] Ash St. They were able to find the keys to the Trailblazer in the passenger side door pocket (where Mr. Ingram was sitting). Officer Hamilton advised that his mother advised that she had picked Mr. Ingram up at the Courtyard Marriott. Lt Burnes later advised that he had located the Trailblazer at the Courtyard Marriott.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] was taken to the vehicle and it was returned to her possession. Mr. Ingram was placed under arrest and transported to the jail for booking without incident by Officer Hamilton. Pictures of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s injuries were taken and uploaded to evidence.com.
