[NARRATIVE #1 on November 12, 2025]

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025 I was dispatched to [3300 BLOCK] Garden Lakes Blvd Apt [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic dispute call. Dispatch advised that a female had stated that a male had put hands on her and said “punch me h*e”. Dispatch advised that the altercation sounded physical at that time and the female had began crying and said “get off me” and “get out of here.”

Dispatch informed responding officers that the phone history belonged to Ms Terra Smith and they could hear her on an open line saying oww. Dispatch also advised they heard a male voice say “get out of my face h*e.” and the female voice state that the male had busted her lip this time.

Upon my arrival I observed that Sgt Kasmar had separated a male and female and was speaking to the male in the driveway. I observed Ms Terra Smith sitting in the doorway to her home. I recognized Ms Smith from previous calls to the address including one earlier that evening. I also recognized the male as Mr John Harmon due to previous altercations at the residence between the two individuals. Earlier that evening PFC Taylor had advised Ms Smith that a dispute over who owned a vehicle would need to be settled in civil court, to call 911 if Mr Harmon returned, and to go inside and wait for officers.

At that time I asked Ms Smith what had happened that evening after officers had left her residence earlier. She stated that she had gone outside to her SUV to get some items and when she turned around she observed Mr Harmon on her property. She stated that she had told Mr Harmon to leave and that he had gone to a car (Tag:[REDACTED] through TN) parked in her driveway and stated that it belonged to him.

Ms Smith advised that she had gone to stand behind the vehicle and prevent Mr Harmon from leaving. At that time she stated that she could not remember what had happened. I observed blood around her mouth and asked how she had been injured. Ms Smith stated that she had bitten her lip. I asked if the incident with Mr Harmon had become physical and she stated that he had pushed her to force her to move and stop preventing him from leaving.

Ms Smith advised that she did have a security camera in her carport. She showed me the surveillance footage of the incident. I could not clearly see what was happening but I did hear Ms Smith calling Mr Harmon a loser over and over in the footage of the first clip. In the second clip I could hear Ms Smith yelling oww loudly. Ms Smith was provided with a link to upload the surveillance footage to evidence.com.

Sgt Kasmar then advised me that he had observed multiple injuries to Mr Harmon’s person including scratch marks on his arms, stomach, chest, and hands. He stated that Mr Harmon also had a large red mark on his buttocks that appeared to be a bite mark. Sgt Kasmar then photographed the injuries.

Sgt Kasmar and PFC Taylor informed me that Mr Harmon had stated that he had come to the residence to get his vehicle and Ms Smith had prevented him from leaving. He then stated that she had attacked him. At that time Ms Smith was placed under arrest and searched for contraband, none was found. She was placed in the rear of squad car 156. Ms Smith advised at that point during the investigation that Mr Harmon had punched her in the face. She advised her neighbors surveillance cameras would have the incident on camera.

Sgt Kasmar and I then canvased the immediate area for surveillance footage of the incident. I spoke with Ms [WITNESS #1] and she stated that her cameras had only picked up the audio of the incident. She went on to state that she had been sitting outside in her carport when the altercation had occurred and she had witnessed it. Ms [WITNESS #1] stated that she had heard [Mr] Harmon and Ms Smith yelling back and forth verbally and insulting each other verbally.

Ms [WITNESS #1] stated that she heard Mr Harmon say “See there you can’t even kick stupid b*tch.” and “Do the cameras show that.” Ms [WITNESS #1] advised that she observed Mr Harmon strike Ms Smith first and then the fight escalate to Ms Smith and Mr Harmon striking each other. Ms [WITNESS #1] stated that she heard Ms Smith yell that Mr Harmon had hit her in the face. I provided Ms Smith with a link to evidence.com to upload any surveillance footage she had of the incident.

At that time Mr Harmon was placed under arrest and searched for contraband, none was found. He was placed in the rear of squad car 177. PFC Taylor transported Mr Harmon to the Floyd County Jail and I transported Ms Smith to the jail. At the jail I photographed the injuries to Ms Smith and uploaded the photographs to evidence.com. Ms Smith was booked for disorderly conduct and Mr Harmon was booked for disorderly conduct and battery against a woman who is pregnant FVA.

[NARRATIVE #2 on November 13, 2025]

On Wednesday November 13th, 2025 I, PFC J Taylor R77, was dispatched to [30 BLOCK] Conifer Ring NW in reference domestic dispute.

Prior to this call I had been dispatched the same residence in reference to a couple fighting over possible shared property. During that time the a male had left the residence after taking both the keys and wallet of a female there. The out come this call end with the female finding her keys on the hood of her SUV and her already having her wallet by the time of my arrival. Female was advised to secure her property and to call if the male returns.

Upon arrival to the residence this time I made contact with John Harmon who advised me the he had just recently been in a physical altercation with his girlfriend/baby mother Terra Smith. Terra was the female that I had spoke to earlier in the night and John was the male who had fled the scene. John stated that he had returned to the residence after their previous verbal altercation to advised Terra that he was leaving residence and taking one of the vehicle with him.

John stated that the vehicle in question, a silver Nissan Altima, was lent to her while he was in jail. John stated that while incarcerated he told Terra to sell the vehicle for bail money but during this time the charges were dropped and he no longer need it sold. Because of this he wanted to take the vehicle back and move it to his new residence. John stated that this conversation took place in the driveway of the residence.

John stated that when he told Terra this she became very irate and began hitting him. During this John stated that he actively held his arms out to block Terra and prevent her from injuring him. John stated that he sustained several scratch marks on his body while trying to protect himself.

While on scene I observed several long welts and laceration on Johns arms and chest as well as bruises and red marks around his upper chest and shoulder areas. John also showed me a large red bite mark on his left butt cheek that was still fresh. All of Johns injuries were photograph and uploaded to Evidence.com. John stated that during the interaction he never put his hands on Terra.

After PFC Oney R27’s investigation John was placed in hand cuffs and advised that he was under arrest. I then transported John to Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and handed over custody to R27.
