On 04/06/2026 I responded to the stated address in response to a domestic dispute. Forsyth County 911 received a phone call from the resident of [5300 BLOCK] Penny Ln, [WITNESS #1] [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated he saw the mother, Carrie Fontan, put [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of her son, [VICTIM #1], and hold him against the house. [WITNESS #1] stated he could see and hear the argument from inside of his house and stated he never saw the son do anything aggressively that warranted this reaction from his mother. [WITNESS #1] said he also saw Carrie with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on [VICTIM #1]’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the other [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I spoke with [WITNESS #1] via a recorded line where he recalled the events to me and told me parts of the conversation that he overheard that were verified by the parties involved.

I made contact with the mother, Carrie Fontan, who stated she and her son, [VICTIM #1], got into an argument in the backyard after she heard their dog yelp and saw [VICTIM #1] holding the dog. [VICTIM #1] stated he grabbed the dog’s collar to keep her from jumping up on the fence and lost his balance and fell into the dog (a Great Dane). Carrie then became upset and began yelling at [VICTIM #1] because she was worried that he had purposely injured the dog. Carrie stated [VICTIM #1] was yelling back at her and so she stated she put her [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to “get him under control”.

[VICTIM #1] at first did not want to tell me what happened and stated he wanted to protect his mother. [VICTIM #1] eventually told me that his mom will often put her [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on him to calm him down when he is out of control. [VICTIM #1] explained that his mom put [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on his [REDACTED BY AGENCY] while he was trying to explain to her what happened to the dog. [VICTIM #1] told me that he was stuck on the wall and felt trapped. When asked if [VICTIM #1] felt like he could [REDACTED BY AGENCY] he told me that he [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then told me that he had [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] changed his mind a few times but never said he felt as though he was going to lose consciousness.

When asked if [VICTIM #1] could speak when she had her [REDACTED BY AGENCY] he stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] he could [REDACTED BY AGENCY] but that was because she had moved [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I asked [VICTIM #1] what it felt like when she had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and he stated she was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] his [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [VICTIM #1] had [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that appeared as though he had been [REDACTED BY AGENCY] by someone’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. When I asked [VICTIM #1] to show me where her [REDACTED BY AGENCY], he had a hard time showing me, and all he could ever show me was [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I did not see any petechiae on [VICTIM #1]’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY] or in his [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. There was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on his [REDACTED BY AGENCY] but [VICTIM #1] also was touching his [REDACTED BY AGENCY] during our interaction.

Based on the totality of the circumstances, I determined that Carrie was the predominant aggressor and placed her under arrest for Battery – FVA. Carried was placed in handcuffs which were double locked and checked for proper fit. I transported Carrie to the Forsyth County Detention Center where she was turned over to jail staff after being cleared by medical. I obtained and executed a warrant for Battery -FVA. Photographs of the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on [VICTIM #1]’s [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were uploaded to AXON under this case number.
