On Monday, December 01, at approximately 1526 hours, I was dispatched to the Union City Police Department Headquarters, located at 5060 Union Street, Union City, Fulton County, Georgia 30291. The call was in reference to an assault that occurred on the previous day.

Prior to arrival, I activated my department issued Axon body worn camera.

Upon arriving on scene, I met with the complainant, identified as [VICTIM #1]. I immediately observed [VICTIM #1]’s face which had fresh red markings on her face and neck consistent with confirmation that a physical dispute had recently taken place. When I asked [VICTIM #1] for additional information, she informed me that on November 30, 2025 at approximately 0800 hours, she was at her residence located at [6300 BLOCK] Raymond Terrace, Union City, Fulton County, Georgia, 30291, when she engaged in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend, identified as ANTHONY JACKSON.

[VICTIM #1] informed me that she was asked to leave and refused. This is when the argument turned physical, and JACKSON began to strike her multiple times in the face and body with closed fists. JACKSON also strangled [VICTIM #1] with both hands causing her to lose oxygen to her lungs multiple times in approximately a 15 minute span of time.

I observed [VICTIM #1] having a busted lip, multiple red markings and scratches around her neck area consistent with strangulation, as well as several bruises that were sustained during the altercation. [VICTIM #1] stated that shortly after the altercation took place, she called an Uber to create distance and prevent any further unwarranted contact or conflict from her offender.

[VICTIM #1] continued, stating that she contacted 911 Communications shortly after, but was unable to receive proper assistance as she was advised to go to the Union City Police Department and have a formal report generated as she had left the scene of where initial offense occurred. [VICTIM #1] also informed me that she went to the Southern Regional Medical Center, located at 11 Upper Riverdale Road SW, Riverdale, Fulton County, Georgia 30274 to be treated for her injuries.

I took pictures of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and proceeded to gather information essential to have warrants taken out for JACKSON for Felony Aggravated Assault (O.C.G.A 16-5-21), and Misdemeanor Battery (16-5-23.1) under the Family Violence Act. I drafted an Affidavit For Arrest on ANTHONY JACKSON for both charges and Warrant #25-014267A as well as Warrant #25-014267B were signed by the Honorable Fulton County Magistrate Court Judge ROSS.

I then attempted to serve the warrants and take JACKSON into custody, however I was unable to do so and was advised to carry out said actions on the following day, Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. I requested that [VICTIM #1] find an alternative housing arrangement for the evening as JACKSON was possibly at the residence and took [VICTIM #1]’s keys to the residence.

I additionally advised [VICTIM #1] on Temporary Protective Order procedures, as well as issued her with a Victim’s Rights Pamphlet. I issued [VICTIM #1] with a case card containing a case number and advised her on instructions to obtain a copy of the report upon request for personal record or to complete next steps in warrant procedures.
