FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – Taylor Swift’s presence at Kansas City Chiefs games has become a hot topic for NFL fans. As the 2024 NFL season kicks off, Swift was seen at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ opener against the Ravens. Her attendance has sparked widespread anticipation for her possible upcoming appearances, particularly at the Chiefs’ late September game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Swift’s boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will face the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 22, 2024. The excitement surrounding Swift’s potential appearance at this game has already impacted ticket prices, which reflect a surge in demand driven by the possibility of seeing the superstar in the stands.
Last season, Swift’s attendance at Chiefs games became a sensation in the NFL. Her presence, often accompanied by a high-profile entourage, including celebrities like Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, and Cara Delevingne, drew significant attention.
Fans were seen sporting shirts with slogans like “Go Taylor’s Boyfriend” and holding signs such as “What’s football anyway? EW (Only here to see Taylor).” One shirt celebrated her with “Travis Kelce’s Best Catch,” featuring her photo.
Swift’s enthusiasm for the Chiefs extended beyond mere attendance. She embraced her role as an unofficial cheerleader, even tweaking the lyrics to her hit song “Karma” during her Eras Tour to include “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.” This playful nod further cemented her connection to the team and influence on its fanbase.
While there has been no official confirmation of Swift’s attendance at the Falcons game, her schedule could allow for it. Swift is set to take a break from her record-breaking Eras Tour around the time of the game before resuming the U.S. leg of her tour. Her previous visit to Mercedes-Benz Stadium during her tour in April 2023 adds to the speculation that she might make another appearance there.
For those interested in attending the game, tickets for the Chiefs-Falcons matchup start at $145 as of late August. This price is a notable increase compared to other games, such as the Chiefs’ game against the New Orleans Saints on September 29, where single-seat tickets start at $70. Despite the higher ticket prices, the chance to witness a game with potential celebrity sightings may make the expense worthwhile for many fans.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 8:20 PM ET, and whether or not Swift visits the stadium, the matchup between the Falcons and the reigning Super Bowl champions, led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, promises to be an exciting event.
